There is a friend of mine who claims he has 330whp in his 03 maxima with
just bolt ons and tune. I don't say anything because he's a mutual friend.
But there is no way dude. It doesn't even have headers or internals. So
this video is good. And he doesn't have a dyno sheet. I can't wait to dyno
and tune my car this spring. First time dyno so I'm curious. I'm going to
do a before and after.
+chrisiztheman1618 I'm not saying he's lying I'm just saying I can't believe what I haven't seen. Anyone running those times would need slicks and anyone who has that much power won't hook on street tires. Ask @Ranma Sautomi he has a ton of power. There's two 12.8-12.9 maxima's one is the late Kevin007 and another guy in a burgundy 6thgen max and Kevin007 was shooting like a 100shot and the other nobody knows. Those videos is on youtube, chern's isn't.
+MrJasonlyrics I agree, but at the same time I don't know why a guy like him would be lying in the first place. I don't know about the 1/4 miles numbers, but he was definitely making a ton of power with that set up. I'm sure you've already done this, but google "maxima 3.5 turbo" and click on the turbokits.com link. lots of info there on turboing the VQ.
Too much numbers though. LOL. I run 14.2 on bolt-ons and he runs high 12's with force induction and no video is on his channel? I don't know bro, I'm not saying it's not true, I'm saying I can't believe it if I don't see it. He has well over 100+whp than me and he only runs 1.5sec give or take faster. I wonder with an extra 100+whp what I'd run ^_^
+MrJasonlyricsCouldn't find a vid, but there are comments all over youtube and on the forums of him claiming those numbers. He is another : "GS460 run low 14's and on good days high 13's . My ride runs 12's all day long and is built for a combination of speed, handling, braking, and all around performance. When I'm done with tuning my goal is 11's. And the maker of this Video was a friend of mine who passed away and unfortunately didn't ask me for the actual numbers which is 345 WHEEL Horsepower (405+hp) and when done with tuning next month 370-390 WHP (450+hp). I RUN at Maryland International Raceway, bring your GS... :-) "He posted that 4 years ago on the video with "300whp" in the title.
+MrJasonlyrics It's all on the org. His best time was 12.6. He had his tranny built and it still blew with all the power he was making. Have you seen his mod list? Easily over 10 grand in engine components. Here is a quote from one of his vids: "With 8psi of boost the car is capable of 450 crank hp. And my car is a 5AT and since I'm FWD, I won't try and push it beyond that because I don't think it will get much added value. Too many other cars I could buy that are more mod friendly..." heres another one: "I use to get about 4.6-7 time range and best track time was a 12.6 on the quarter mile at Maryland International Raceway. She's a daily driver now and I don't race her anymore since I picked up a 2010 Supercharged Camaro RS/SS. ;-) "
Impossible. Chernmax's best 1/4 mile time is 13 sec and there's no way he could make 415whp with an automatic, his tranny wouldn't of lasted as long as it did. With that much hp the tranny would be a wrap in no time. The only guy I know that make over 400whp is +Ranma Sautomi at 404whp and his 5thgen is a monster.
Lmfao. Chernmax had force induction and he only got 300whp. it's amazing the numbers these guys are giving and if you ask them for a dyno chart they don't have one. Inbox me your mod list and I'll estimate for you. Don't pay just to get a dyno because it's just a waste if money. Get the numbers when you tune.
Those are very expensive things. I'm not sure if it's anything performance or just for looks but I would love to do it to my IM.
Turbo g35 test and tune on dyno!
This g35 came to us from Ontario has 10lbs stock block momentum turbo kit. Dyno tuned to some great gains of 27 ft/lbs and 26 hp over the email tune on 94 oct.
HFC's X pipe 2.5" mandrel :) my butt dyno has seen huuuuge gains in hp and torque :p i havnt dyno'd her yet, but i would guess most likely 20 more whp mainly ...
05 G35 5AT K&N Drop in, Revup intake, Ztube, 5/16 plenum spacer, MD art pipes, Fast Intentions round catback exhaust Baseline 247 hp 220 lb/ft After tune ...
G35 Uprev Osiris Dyno Tune
Dyno tuned the G35 with Uprev Osiris at Pros Tuning in West Palm Beach. The guys there are awesome, I highly recommend taking your G or Z there.
Motordyne 5/16 plenum spacer, z-tube with k&n drop in filter, fast intentions resonated test pipe, a real HKS dual exhaust that I paired with a Magnaflow resonated x-pipe which I believe helped with torque.
Shop I went to said they had to send over my ecu info to uprev and have
them "patch it" don't know exactly what that means but I'll need to wait
1-2 weeks for uprev to send it back.
Hmm not sure but this is what I found from a quick search. //www.infinitiq50.org/forum/engine-technical-discussion/68194-osiris-uprev-etune-have-cable-now-what.html#/forumsite/20710/topics/68194?page=1
+Moises Madrigal Here is the link where you can check out my Dyno sheet. This was done in a mustang dyno which are known to ready pretty low compared to a dynojet. //g35driver.com/forums/tuner-dyno/451653-uprev-tune-results.html
+Motordyne G35 Congrats on having your G for so long man. I've only had mine for two years and I can't agree more that this car still looks very modern. I don't ever see myself selling my G either. I have the HKS exhaust because I got it for only $300 off my buddies totaled G35 and its a real HKS not a knock off. I paired the exhaust with fast intentions resonated test pipes and a magnaflow resonated x pipe to bring down the noise level. Motordyne is deff a top notch company, I bought the 5/16th ISO thermal plenum spacer package and noticed a difference even before the tune. As for the exhaust, I have not heard in person yet but I can only imagine it's amazing. I also will agree that the tune was worth the price and it is the best mod I have so far.
All good, but the tune was by far the best mod. I"m sure you would agree. Congrats on your tune by the way. I have had my g for 11 years now. It is an ageless design and I'll never sell it. I've heard HKS in person, it has the same size diameter piping as my old invida exhaust had; 2.36 inches. If you haven't heard motordyne shockwave in person yet, trust me, nothing sounds better. It is a 3 inch exhaust vs. the 2.36inch HKS one you have. I sold my old exhaust after hearing motordyne shockwave in person, it is that good. I used to love my old exhaust too.
+Auto-Motion Pictures So you gained 16whp and 10wtq according to your baseline run being 259/255 and the final being 275/266. Not bad, but the DE rev-up motors do make more. My gain was 25whp/35wtq on my tune, 2005 G35. I also did mine on a Mustang dyno so you have a comparison. Mods.....NWP 75mm big throttle body, Injen CAI, Motordyne 5/16th, MREV2, Motordyne ART pipes and Motordyne shockwave.
Motordyne ISO thermal 5/16 plenum spacer, z-tube with k&n drop in filter, fast intentions resonated test pipes authentic HKS true dual exhaust. I replaced the H-Pipe on the HKS due to a flaw in it and replaced it with a magnaflow resonated x-pipe which helped with torque. The tuners there were very surprised at the numbers my car put up especially on a mustang dyno. I hold the horsepower record at there shop for a DE with basic boltons.
Fujita Air Intake 2008 G37S

this video proves nothing. When you drive in the real world, there is alot
of heat flowing around the engine bay andthose exposed filters suck up all
that heat reducing power. This test is bogus because the hood is up and its
indoors in room temperature. Save your money and just get 2 K&N filters
which make 8-9hp because it fits in the filter box protected from heat. The
steel pipes do absolutely nothing for power.
Whoever is talking about how it's different if your driving cause of the
hot air and what not it doesnt matter obviously they would have dynoed it
the exact same way with the stock air boxes then with the intake that's all
their showing not under driving conditions. I dont know anyone that dynos
their car with their hood shut either.
That's all very well, but I want a nice intake sound.. why did they not
enclose them in the engine bay like they did on the 350Z... I would have
though that at speed the air is still rammed into the filter from the front
of the car and hot air is sucked out underneath the car.
yeah bullshlt haha. next time, close the hood and lets see if it produces
the same power. hot air intake for the loss. aluminum polish pipe for
show... does nothing for powa...
u dont need to look fast when u look sexy lol If u have a fast POS dudes
will think ur cool If u have a not fast but good looking car Bitches will
love u jaja i have both tho
