could you partially remove one of the boards , then leave it in place and
use it as an anchor to pull the board next to it out? instead of having to
put the additional boards down to help pull the pallet apart. thanks good
idea.
+flooently using 2 helps equal force and keeps the wood from cracking, remember to let the pallets get wet from rain or your water hose the night before

Eastiest way to Dismantle Pallets Without Spliting or Breaking the Ends
I dismantle a pallet in 4minutes without a single broken board. QUICK and EASIEST way to remove the slats from the rails. SHED VIDEO SERIES: ...
I'm so happy I never threw away any of my used saw blades, was waiting to
figure a way to sharpen them and you solved my problem! I got about 40 used
blades because I do a lot of demo work for landlords. You're the man! I
love your rocket stove and your pallet shed which I'm building mine,
gathering the pallets already but my shed is going to be huge. I'll try to
make videos of it then post them.
I cut down about 60 pallets so far, What a JOB! I got blisters and splinters in both hands! LOL I've been asking for volunteers as this shed or sheds are being used for my church mission enabling me to store donated food, clothes, appliances, furniture etc that I give to those in need, but not one volunteer has shown up. I give away food almost daily in my huge yard, but weather is really a problem especially rain and I have to keep racoons and squirrels at bay. I also need shed to use as a work shop to build babbington burners so I can heat families homes in winter when they can't afford fuel oil or other heating bills, and to store my landscaping equipment that brings me extra income.
Around 10 hours of pallet disassembly and 90 hours of building. If I did the exact same shed I could cut it down to around 40-50hours. If I just used a nail gun to hold everything and omitted joinery I could cut it down even further to around 20hours.
That makes sense Thank you! I'm not at that point yet, I just started gathering the pallets last week some are good and some are bad either really dirty or broken that'll be used fr fire wood in my mass rocket stove, I started taking the pallets apart yesterday. I'm using the sawzall. How long did it take you once you started building it to completion?
+Pastor William Barhorst Yeah, once it dries and even before it is less flammable than any commercially bought oil based stain because there are no thinners like the highly flammable acetone.
You're deserving of it and you're welcome! Your videos are supreme! You taught me a lot, I'm going to be building my shed like yours but a lot larger! Great garage door too and using 55 gallon barrels for a roof AWESOME!, and oil and fuel to stain it with! What about catching fire? I guess as it dries the fumes dissipate.
all good and well but how about getting on the proper eye protection and
figure a way to properly support the item you are cutting. With all that
wobbling around someone somewhere is going to stick that sawzall blade into
their leg. building a simple frame with the center stringers would be easy
and safer than trying to hold it in place with a knee.
no, just people looking for good ideas that might follow the practice of someone who now apparently feels no need to show how to do it safely. Just because you were able to get away with doing a couple things so stupidly does not mean that an inexperience person won't try it an hurt themselves. If you want to show how to do something....do it right.

+Anne Engard im thinkin to save from splitting use circular saw to cut the ends off both ends of board just inside the edge of the 2x4 below theyre nailed to because thats where most the cracks happen.then have to pry only the center boards up
