Hey John, thanks for watching. I saw the product for 2.99$ The thing is there are many electronic components below. When you remove the glass there are remnants of the previously used adhesive. Its hard to get rid of that. Hence when you use glue, you can choose the areas on which you want to apply it. Hence that would work better.

Thanks for the video! I saw a precut adhesive for the back glass on ebay for $3.00. Do you think that may work better than the superglue?

Yes it did! Because I was not able to clear out all the preexisting glue at the bottom the surface stayed uneven. :(

I think you've been scammed off. The original one has a box that has an LG label on it that has the words "VOID" if removed all over it. They peel off without a tiny trace of mark. Yours looked so messed up after it was peeled. Also it is supposed to come with a headset. I think it's a used phone nicely wrapped up in the original box and taped. Sad!!
