Yes because with low bar your wrists are getting torqued back from the bar
being a position to easily slide off. Use a wider grip and/or use wrist
wraps to help the wrist issue. With a wider grip you still want maximum
contraction of your upper back when the bar is placed for a stable base.
Low bar is weird as hell for most people.
Good job pushing through the asthma, Dustin. I was thinking about your
squat style while watching it. Maybe you should switch to high-bar because
you squat with a narrow stance. What do you think?
Thanks DW. I've actually only recently switched to low bar this year. While
I am more upright with a high-bar squat, I squat more low bar with a
forward lean out of the hole.
