Lakewood Kmart 3RD GEN 223 BOX FAN (YES I FINALLY GOT ONE)
the fan that has the coolest blades IN MY OPINION. first brought to us in 1986. this fan was manufactured sometime in 1988 kind of beat up. well the grilles ...
WOW. Great find!!! I love the color of the blades. Thoes blades are usually
Tan, not Cream. That blade is basically the same color as the blade on the
2nd generation. That is a rare gem. I have a late 80's 3rd gen, but I want
a blade for it that is the same color as this one.
Ised to have one like it, but itwas not a k mart. We had to get rid of it
cause of a cord break. If there was no cord break, we would probably still
have it. We got an '03 lakewood model, and that thing works like a
beaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaast
Nice Lakewood. I know how you feel too. The feeling inside when you find
something you're looking for a long time.... you just want to burst in
excitement, but you can't sometimes because people are watching. ;)
@madgamer0001 Usually Almond/Tan. I assume this was the blade before they
decided to round off the tips of the blades. You got a rare one my friend!
=)
very solid work and a nice video. if I may be so bold, however, let me pass
on a tip that was a game changer for me. I used to approach gluing up a
fuselage in exactly the same way you did it here, but then I learned about
tamiya extra thin cement. it's a solvent cement, so it actually welds bare
plastic parts together to form a single piece. The real magic, however, is
that you dry fit then wick the cement into the joint. This is far less
fiddly than placing the glue and then attaching the parts. :)
I like the Pegasus skins Brotha. Paint looks super. Keep up the good work.
Cool of u to dedicate the build to Chris. He's a awesome friend and model
builder. Been praying for him daily that he has a very speedy and
successful healing process cancer free.
