It's rhodehiss dam. If you want to fish on shore you have to park at the bridge or pay the owner that owns the parking near the dam. If on boat the closet dock to the dam should be Gunpowder lake hickory. Good luck and be safe

A lot of us fish for the sport and follow the rules to maintain a healthy and more fishes for the next generation. I hated when I see other people trashing the fishing areas and stealing fishes. They act like the world is gonna end tomorrow or stocking up for the winter...

Haha my lil bro is the one you talking about. I remember the day in this video. They caught way more!! But they only brought 5 home and they were 35+ inches. We do a lot if fishing but don't really keep them.

First of all, yes you CAN fish there. The no trespass sign is for duke's property behind the fencing that's why the NC Wildlife post is still up there next to the trail. Why would you say they are over fishing? The multiple buckets are because herring and larger shad can't last long in confined spaces so (as the video shows) you have to only put few in a bucket or else your bait won't last so everyone brings their own. BTW how do you know that they are over fishing? by the few they caught? fish are there to eat not play with,catch and release is fine but just as you have the right to fish because it's "fun" you ALSO have the right to eat your catch as long as you stay within the laws your government has put in place.

There's a half acre junior pond at a recreational area near my house where I've seen ignorant people fill 5 gallon buckets with bream, it makes me want to ask them where they think the fucking fish come from.
