that foregin county is Slovenia, you should really compare how Germans react to ambulance siren, their driving culture is amazing. In Slovenia most people give way, but there are still assholes ignorant of emergency vehicles.

That's not the point in this video..the point is to show indians that they should be ashamed of themselves and realize that what they're doing is wrong..this video is not trying to compare which country is best at giving way to ambulance but to compare other countries with india..

This is Kerala I guess. Kerala is a small part of India. Never forget UP, Bihar, MP, WB, MH, Delhi, Punjab, etc. It is true that India does not give way for an Ambulance.

+shiva krishna t.r Compare the roads of Bangalore and Kerala. I have named some of the States. Karnataka does not belongs in that group. I know properly that the Karnataka Govt only stops outside vehicles not the ambulance. :P

+Suryanarayan Mondal Whatever, Kerala might be small part but it belongs to India Right? Which in the End Means Indians do give way. I agree they May not have given way in rest of India. But they do Give way in my Hometown Mangalore Which belongs to Karnataka.

Ok so here's my take on the video. I don't know what was said. It seems like the motorcycle guy didn't give way to the Ambulance so they are going after him to kick his ass. 1. If they have the time to stop the Ambulance and try to kick this guy's ass, that means they were not in an emergency. Otherwise they would already be on their merry way to save a life. 2. Now that they were NOT in an emergency, they have no right to go after anyone for not giving them right of way. Isn't it? 3. When an ambulance is NOT in an emergency situation, it is simply just another vehicle on the road and has equal rights like anyone else. I think the ambulance guys were WRONG in this particular case based on my arguments above.

What people usually do is either block it, or make way for it, and immediately go right behind it through the safe passage created for the ambulance. Sigh.
