The only fixed wheel stock on that train were the Z van, water tank and GY's. The passenger cars were all bogie. I think the veteran cars at Seymour (which are all fixed wheel) may have done a mainline run since then. The carriage with six wheels is 13BL, also known as "Pioneer". It was built to a similar outline as the V cars, but featured balconies on the end, was longer and had six wheel bogies. There was also 12BL which until recently was stored in derelict condition at Newport.

I'd like to see her run on her own without it always being shuttles, they where built for heavy hauling as there rated 113% which is more than what the D3 can pull. Also, did you film when WCR used her as a yard pilot for shunting Ballarat?

This would've been one of the last runs in Victoria for any sort of passenger fixed-wheel stock? Also, why does the first V car have six axles?

I remember when they ran the Bendigo shuttles. The cars stayed in Bendigo for a week or two before heading to Echuca.

They are stored in Newport Workshops east block by the department of transport.

Nah I missed when they used it as a yard pilot unfortunately.
