I really like Houston and it's players, their guards are so quick and they all have great shooting ability, if Yao stays healthy and they keep their focus they'll be hard to stop, their big men both Yao and Miller are shooters, Yao more of a mid range and low post shooter and Miller one of the rare centers that shoots 3's in the league, that's what makes them even more dangerous, all they need now is one more good forward and they'll be quite a surprise for many teams this or next year

@iBatzman It's too early i believe to give up on Mayo. I mean Memphis gave up on him as a starter because they have a lot of weapons. Don't you remember when Mayo was in his rookie year? Those stretch of games without Gay(and before the Randolph singing), he was their main option and put up stretches of 30point games and 25point games. He still has a better upside than Rudy Gay. Just needs time and/or his "own" team.

@sparksmemphis i couldnt agree more. i love the grizzlies. they are the only sports team that i care about! they have the talent to beat anyone in the league on any night, but they have to get more consistent. buy, yeah man, break down a game like the game a few weeks ago when we beat OKC in their building in OT. that is a good example of how the grizzlies play. that game, or when the griz beat LA in LA

@iBatzman Yeah - I haven't kept up too much more than what I see in headlines - I think he got relegated to the bench. Seems to me he takes bad shots and if his shooting percentage gets to 40%, he's a liability. And defensively, he's not perfect - so it's a tough thing for them. I like Henry too - which is also a problem for Mayo - Henry is bigger and stronger and might defend better...

good break down, as a grizzlies season ticket holder for 2 years now, i wish you had broken down a different game. The Rockets are the anti griz. we NEVER beat them so i dont think this game was a good representation of how we can play. we lost that game before we got on the court. breaking down a game we usually split a season on like phx or something would have been better.

@N0CAPE The reason you don't want guys shooting long shots with a lot of time on the shot clock is because you can probably get a higher % shot if you just run your offense. Unless your name is Ray Allen, Steve Nash and the like I would say a off the dribble 3 pointer with 11 seconds on the shot clock in the 4th quarter is a bad shot.

@joekimusic I think his shot selection isn't great - and if it gets down to 40%, he's a liability. Also - Henry is a nice addition who's longer and a better athlete - so Mayo might not get back in the starting lineup. Let's see if he can adjust to Vinnie "The Microwave" Johnson status

@iBatzman I think he's just adjusting to the bench. I think he's good on the bench ...otherwise their bench is horrible. he can be a great 6th man. he still needs to learn to get to the line more..aka be more aggressive/physical. Otherwise he's still solid in my opinion

Coach, on 6:23, I have heard that a lot. Don't shoot when there's plenty of time. But I never understand why. I personally think if you are wide open, you should always shoot (if you're a good shooter of course) regardless of the clock.

You should do the raptors next. I'm sure you'd have a great time analysing the gigantic scale of their defensive errors, and as a raptors fan, I wouldn't mind knowing just how far we have to go to become a good playoff team again.
