I miss the Living Room!

I am kinda confused. The Ford Focus Rally: America contestants have not been picked yet. Plus they were still having casting calls and excepting applications for contestants when you posted this video and the comments about being a "finalist". It does not add up unless I am missing something... How do you know you are a finalist? Have the contestants been officially posted somewhere already? Are you just hoping to be picked? I am not trying to rain on your parade or anything, I am curious.
