End of Watch Review (Best Movies of 2012)
End of Watch Review (Best Movies of 2012) by We Watched A Movie. We review the 2012 found footage cop movie "End of Watch", one of the best films of 2012 ...
I once got pulled over by a cop whose breath smelled like bigfoot's dick
and had one bad eye. It was one of those creepy ass eyes that had no color,
just all smoky blue looking. I was thinking how the hell is this guy a cop?

I'm a grown man and i teared up at the end. Thank God they didnt show the
actual assassination or i wouldve been a train wreck. Mr. Lewis so
captured, and to a degree rewrote, my idea of who Abraham Lincoln was that
i felt the loss of the man almost as if i was there in that time. I can
imagine it must have been at least strange, to the cast, to see him go back
to being Daniel Day Lewis and perhaps as hurtful to them as it was the
average viewer.
That is so true. We all feel upset when people we love leave us. That is
why Jesus wept over the death of Lazarus even though he would raise him
from the dead. (John 11:35) Therefore, it helps us to remember that sorrows
will come, but, his joy lasts forever if we believing into God through his
son, as our loved ones who died in his arms are with us in Heaven. (I
Thessalonians 4:13-18)
Even though he was a great leader and great POTUS, his REAL opinion of
black people was way different than what is portrayed in this movie. He did
think the white race was superior than any of the "colored" races. He did
have a plan to deport ex slaves and people of african descent to Haiti,
where they would make their own colony. Liberia, however, has existed since
the early 1800 and that's usually where freed slaves went until the middle
of the Civil War.
I don't know if this changes your opinion of Lincoln. This is what happens
when you follow history seen through white eyes. Also, there's no mention
of Frederick Douglous in this movie. Along with Thaddeus Stevens (probably
the most accurate portrayal in this film) Douglas pressured the hell out of
Lincoln to pass an anti-slavery bill and was critical of Lincoln throughout
his presidency.
It is also pretty cool to note that John Wilkes Booth, the man who
assassinated Lincoln, was present during his 2nd inaugural address, which
is the last scene of this movie. When the camera pans out John Wilkes Booth
is actually in the top right of the picture (obviously I'm talking about
the actual photo this scene was inspired by).
+Sitizen Kane Wrong. Lincoln wanted to deport blacks back to Africa because he felt they would never be able to live among white people without conflict. He certainly felt, by his death, that blacks and whites were equal. He simply felt like society never would share his opinion.
Lincoln broke many constitutional values and made us all slaves. Just one
slip, you will find your god given rights completely violated! Which
country has the most prisoners?
Abe Lincoln the only president who was known to be better than Washington
yet he was Republican and hated in his presidency as shown by the Civil
War. To most he is the equivalent to Alexander the Great of Russia. He will
be remembered. Funny thing is I'm Japanese xD
+WWII USMC He was known for being a big impact in Russia though however, and many people believe that if the U.S. gave the title of "The Great" then Abe Lincoln would have been give that title.
+magesticmaniacc No, no, no. I'm a Republican, an Eisenhower Republican. I'll say this: No one, yes, no one in today's Republican Party is worthy of Abraham Lincoln or Dwight D. Eisenhower. Lincoln died once more when you compared him to Trump. It is blasphemous to put those two names in the same sentence ( Which I just did. May GOD Forgive me for it).
Thank you for the video. Abraham Lincoln was God's chosen president, a man
of God who prayed every morning, seeking God's mind and wisdom. His blood
was shed that the slaves might go free. It is a type of what Chris did on
the cross for us, that we too may be free.
