+kashsoldier What's happening in your khap panchayat? Have you made any decisions about stoning any more lovers to death to protect the "honour" of your biradari? I'll be very happy to listen to any music as long as you continue killing your own. Pay grade? I'm very comfortable with my pay. I get paid quite a lot more than what the RSS pedophiles pay you after they use your rectum, rent boy.
+Budiga Saidulu Goud You are buddhu's fan, aren't you? Instead of talking about something beyond your paygrade, how about going and listening to some gulti music or something. Stop listening to your white master's music. Metallica sucks. lol. Stupid self loathing Indian
+Budiga Saidulu Goud public got get together and kick the politicians out. Got to join hands with ex service people. If we do not do that then how the present forces to protect the country
This is ridiculous. For someone who is protecting our nation, at this time
in India, we do not need to have sympathy or respect, We need to have
regret. Seeing a man suffer and die is hard, seeing the same man suffer and
die, because your are the one who shot him is impossible to imagine. I have
had a young man die in my arms (it was his mistake, his stupidity that
killed him) and I had emotional trauma for years, even after 12yrs, I
cannot shake his dying eyes out of my mind, if I would have been the reason
that person passed away, I would not be able to live with myself.
We need to have regret, that we as a nation, do not have systems in place
to take care of our veterans. We have youngster who do not want to join
military because we as a nation fail to care for our national heroes. We as
a nation follow these political frauds and these fraud religious traders,
but we fail to take care of our national heroes. What a shame!!!
Go to Australia/UK/US/Canada/Germany/Russia, a veteran is forced to NOT pay
for his lunch. A veteran walks around with a medal on his chest and people
on the street give him way, they salute him. This is the respect and care
we need to give our veterans. And enable our veterans to wake up in the
morning and put their medals on their chest, not to return them.
I have seen in Australian bars (TAB bars), a veteran walks in and has a
drink and before he has the chance to order his meal, he would have guys
lining around him, thanking him for his service to nation. Family will
bring their children and point, "this is the man who has kept you safe,
thank him.".
In Australia, the systems have evolved so much in last 20 years, that a
person retiring from Army has over 50 certificates. Because the whole
training has been tied with education sector. As a result, Australians have
retired veterans who are training truck drivers, teaching students in
Universities and running parts of nation. Most importantly they are running
museums and educating civilians on how things work. A veteran by trade
cannot be bribed, he has seen so much BS, that he is immune to it, the
pride and honor a veteran has, if retired veterans are forced to run the
country, we will see change within 24hrs. I had the chance to get trained
by a veteran (Cert4 in Training and Assessment) and it was one of the most
amazing experience of my life. NO BS, straight truth with facts based
training. Me and few students ended up going on a Lunch with our teacher
and the stories regarding training, its amazing what our veterans go
through, training on how to cut trees, build bridges, drive 50T trucks,
changing 8ft wide tires, using 3 trucks to hitch a single truck out of
mud/sand, constructing buildings in record time, its just amazing what they
are trained to do. Yet a veteran retiring in India has ZERO certificates.
His good chance to work after retiring is security guard, what a SHAME!!!
Yet we as a nation have failed. This is worse than Babri Masjid, Bluestar,
Gujarat and Mumbai bombing. Even IS which has the most fcked up mindset in
the world, has more respect for their veterans. We just failed as a nation.
+Adam Piggott Here even if a man somehow makes it, he has to make a politician's lazy son a sleeping partner in the company in order to make profits. In that case his tax also may get freed. Nothing gets done here without greasing palms. It is amazing to see what kind of incentives & training can be given to army personnel. I wish even children from poor families can be given training to stand on their own. This is what they want. They don't want charity. They don't want fish. They want to know how to fish.Farmers have the same problem. Their productive lands are taken for industrialisation in return for a pittance. Aadivaasees or tribals are simply 'evacuated' from their lands & left to die of starvation. I don't know about other countries. But this country has not cared for people belonging to vulnerable sectors.
+Latha Baradwaj See the biggest problem is this. A soldier is forced to go though this training, which is tougher than nails but shapes no BS mindset and character, and gives him host of knowledge, be it maintenance, driving, survival, guns, physical and mental training, but the same soldier goes through mental torture at some stage, but in the end he comes out of top. Spend some time with someone who served his life starting as as infantry man and raises through ranks, speak to them in personal setting and its amazing.Yet the same soldier has no other choice, if he wants to get out, be it due to physical injury, mental reasons or personal reasons. He has no choice, leaving armed forces ends his career. Only those select few that have personal links can go in other career, be it on TV or somewhere else. But the FACT is majority of infantry men join army because of 2 reasons, they are too poor to do something else, or their family belongs to military and the character of their fathers shapes them and they see armed forces as heroes (which they most definitely are). But a person coming out of armed forces has little to no choice. Tie the training into education and give them a fighting chance, make them take that no BS character and mindset into civilian life. It will end up the biggest positive factor for India. One can join armed forces through education side for sure, but then they are tied to particular degree and field but whatever else they learn on the job, they have no physical evidence to show for. While working with Ray systems, I installed few security cameras (passive IR cameras, scrambled and de-interlaced on hardware level) for a company ran by an Australian military veteran. I dealt with him directly and his story was amazing. He worked on tanks and infantry vehicles (land rovers, LAV's, etc). His problem was ladders, he had trouble finding a ladder suitable for working on different vehicles and witnessed few guys falling and getting hurt during maintenance. As he retired, he designed a series of ladders, which he ended up patenting and because he had a letter from military stating he has worked on such serious and different variety of vehicles and is expert in maintaining them, when he went to bank to ask for a loan, it gave him a leg to stand on. He now exports different ladders to few different armed forces and is a millionaire. In the end if he did not had that piece of paper from army, bank would have rejected his loan (after all from the point of a bank manager, what does an infantry man know about designing ladders and identifying military needs?).So essentially a single piece of paper from military, enabled him: - To work after he retired. - Pay back bank loan, giving bank interest. - Employ, a receptionist, few factory workers, a sales guy, few truck drivers. - He bought industrial land (which he had to pay taxes on). - Build a factory and office (which he has to pay Land rates to council (consider this as Australian version of tax to local council for roads and stuff)). - His company pays 10% of total earnings as GST to government, which the company charges to customers. - His company further pays tax on every single dollar it makes. - His company is bringing money from overseas into Australia.See how much difference a single piece of paper, given to a veteran can make in civilian side.
+skywalker jake being from an army background for the past 4 generations, and being a part of this respected institution for the past 27 yrs of my life , trust me , i also had tears in my eyes ! my old father a retd. colonel saab, and my real brother a present colonel in army, we all were aghast, and without words when we saw and heard this ! who will care for the anguish we have encountered ??? jumlo sey kuch nahi hoga ab ! we want action !
+Bobby Chauhan i was cryin when i saw this . seriously i never in life believed that the veteran would be treated like this. when war comes they will remember army n whole flock of bollywood will visit like they did in kargil ... totally n utterly i feel disgusted with the govt.
As a Korean man, I am discouraged to hear about such violent racism against
"chinkies" and others in India, a nation for which I have nothing but
respect and admiration. It really is not worth of such an ancient and
venerable civilisation. Still, it is a good thing that these debates are
taking place in India, and I wish for all Indians, who are our Asian
brothers and sisters, to move beyond this problem, which will allow for
India to enter into an era of great prosperity.
+Onyeka Onyebuchukwu I'm not really particularly interested in what happens among Americans of any race.As for the women in East and Southeast Asia, the ones that marry Western men are and very often have been incredibly desperate women living in poverty who need an escape from their terrible circumstances. I can't blame these women for what they did and do. The white men they marry though are too often incredibly racist and exploitative. But in most East and SE Asian countries, for women of middle-class and above, they greatly prefer men from their own nation to any foreigners, and among foreigners, they will usually prefer men from certain other E and SE Asian nations, to Westerners. As a nation becomes economically more prosperous, there are fewer and fewer women in the category of being extremely desperate and therefore marrying westerners. This is certainly the case in Korea. A nice, handsome, tall, considerate Korean man with a good career is basically the jackpot for any Korean women; really no other man from any country could really compete with such a man.Of course, there will always be a small percentage of women who are, say, obsessed with American culture and who wants to marry an American. And so as the number of "desperate" women decrease as the country becomes more prosperous, these few women are basically the only women who will show a preference for Westerners. As for Middle Eastern women, I'm not expert in this, but I'm not entirely sure that the reason that they don't marry out is entirely for positive reasons. Though it is, of course, good that they don't marry Americans.
+blorgy555 In the Indian community, there are elements of that too. We would prefer to have a white neighbor or bring home a white buddy but wont tolerate groups we see as less successful than us, and by that i mean blacks and Hispanics. But as far as Indian girls go, we are all brought up with that sense of cultural identity that should be cemented by ultimately marrying an Indian. Mind you not just any Indian, an Indian that shears your background and heritage. But of course there is a new trend now where Indian women are going for white guys. But that is still insignificant compared to the ones that marry within. And a white suitor is as far as they are allowed to venture. Bringing a black or Hispanic or even East Asians man is an uncharted territory. That's why i respect Middle Easterners. They hardly give a preferential treatment to whites. Imagine the Babies born of GI's stationed in East Asia and South East Asia. The women became play things for them. But that is in direct opposite of what happened in the Middle East. Even though the Americans have bases in some parts and are an occupying force in other parts, there is no evidence of American Soldiers mingling with the women or even having babies with them. Even here in the US, it is still very rear to see a middle eastern woman having a relationship or getting into marriage with white men. And mind you, these are some of the most uniquely beautiful women in the world. That says a lot about them. And i highly respect them for that. They show no deference for the white man the way others do. If an American goes to the middle east, he or she is well behaved compared to how their misbehavior in other parts of the world. Middle Easterners should be lauded for that.
+Onyeka Onyebuchukwu In my first reply to you, I specifically said that this narrative is driven my Westerners. You actually agreed with me, since Asian-Americans are Westerners. In any case, they're not wrong.
+Onyeka Onyebuchukwu Yeah, those are Asian-Americans. I don't really care about those people. Don't group them with Koreans in Korea because they're two completely different groups of people. I can assure you that most Koreans in Korea don't give a damn about white people in their daily lives.
Its not driving by Westerners. It is driven by other Asian men like you. Sometimes this is in reaction to the ease with which it seems Western men score with your women. Here in the United States, that accusation is even more intense. I went to UC Berkeley and had a lot of Asian buddies. Their obsession with what they see as unfair Western portrayals of them as unattractive asexual goofy nerds with small penises was only surmounted by their complains of how their women worship white men. It is not a Western Propaganda at all. And you must agree that there is some element of truth in their complaints.
+Onyeka Onyebuchukwu Of course I am aware that there is racism in Korea, as there is in every country, particularly against South and South-east Asians. This is a huge fucking problem. But this racism is almost always based on ignorance and non-exposure rather than hatred. And as a result, it almost never leads to actual physical violence or murder, unlike in this case.I wasn't trying to bash India. I fucking love India and Indians. Your description of Korea as white-worshipping is a narcisstic narrative mostly driven by Westerners. I do think that Koreans are a little too kind to white people, but for the most part, Koreans really don't give a damn about white people. They're nothing special. I imagine that it is similar in India. I especially have no positive feelings towards white people as a group.Peace.
+blorgy555 You are Korean. Is your society perfect? There are stories of dark skinned Indians and others getting discriminated against. You guys are even worse because your society worships the WHITE MAN. SO SHUT THE FUCK UP YOU DISGUSTING WHITE ASS KISSING CHINK.
