What about polishing rims with a lot of spokes? The only thing that would
really fit would be a cone shaped pad. What do you recommend? I have quite
a bit of rust on them but doing it by hand will take forever.

The best microfiber buffing cloth for cars, microfibre detailing towel PART 1
A shootout of 18 of the best automotive buffing cloths for removing polish, wax and sealants... 3 part video... Part 2 available here...
+Ryan Simpson thx ryan. thats really great to hear.. I thought this video would be of interest to people into detailing... It goes without saying its a bit long winded and too much dialogue etc.. but this is me in my garage so there are limitations... but always looking to improve and its a bit of fun... thanks for taking the time to give positive feedback it really does mean so much.
I also have a request.. How to wash microfiber towels..
At the beginning of part 1, you say you can maintain them for years. that
doesn't apply to me, I can not keep them that long. Any tips, especially or
heavy soiled towels ( I now soak them in Meg 101, and then use
microrestore, cold wash tumble dry) would be much appreciated.
Thank you!
there's a mistake I make, I dry them on tumble dry fully, around 20 minutes. I'll take them out earlier as you do. And, I need to get better with separating the loads, I used to put all wax, sealant, polish in one and then, interior, glass, detail spray in another load. that's my laziness, I'll fix that. Again, thank you very much for the time to write this reply and your videos, I'm looking forward for more
+Ugur Baris hey Ugur... So with these buffing cloths I will try and make a load of one type... So if Im polishing I will have a load of say 10+ blue ragmaster ones... I also make sure I dont mix ones with polish and ones with sealants or waxes... First thing is these towels do not get dirty.. They are product removal tools.. So when they go in the wash I want the product taken off them and I dont want to weaken them with too much heat.So in go my 10 eagle cloths into the washing machine... I use liquid non bio detergent (if you see the ones for babies with no additives)... no fabrics softners... just a mild non bio liquid detergent for babies... I dont use much of it.. generally about 50-75% of what the manufactuerer of the detergent advises. With polish the towels will go in for about a 30 - 45 minute wash... On no more than 30 degres. Then they go in the machine tumble drier on the lowest heat for about 6-7 minutes.. I then take them out damp (but fluffy) and the dry them on a cloths horse or washing line...Dont machine dry them all the way (untill they are bone dry) as you will shorten their life.. Dont put any other formats of towel in with them... 95% on linting issues are contamination... 5% are deteriation of the towel from overheating (tiny fragments)....Seen a lot of people say with autority how these towels "lint"... they dont. They lint when you wash them wrong...get a small brush for baby hair brushing... I use this to gently. brush once a year or if they get matted. For buffing cloths with Wax or sealants I will put the temp to 40.. and the wash cycle might be a bit longer.
Great Tutorials there,,,,, do you use a paint thickness meter to gauge how
much you've got to work with before you start to correct? Keep up the
video's ...well done!
