Maybe i shoukdnt be sharing my thoughts on louie but i feel that there are
so.many negative comments on him someone has to stand up for him. I am sure
all the mistakes we.humans make includibg Christ followers are a joy for
non believers to point out. Non believers are quick to judge. Actually
Christ followers are too. Louie has done many great things and given God
the glory. When he meets his Maker it is up to God to deal with the faults
of Louie not us. I believe the Bible clearly states that we should not
judge. There is One True Judge and it isnt us. Louie. I believe in you and
apparently Jesus does too. Who am i to question God?
It is ok for you to share your thoughts the same as others do. None of us are perfect and even Louie says he makes mistakes and is still learning this walk of being a believer. I personally feel that learning and changing as believers in Christ are things we will continue to do until we go to our heavenly home. We all make mistakes and fall but that is why we have the Holy Spirit/Comforter that Jesus asked the Father to send us once He went back to heaven. The Holy Spirit opens up scriptures to us and guides us down the path we call life and when we fall He points us back to the cross and reminds us that Jesus paid for our sins in full (Past present and future). We need only to repent and turn from our sin and ask God to help us to continue on.
+Lilian Kuhn True. Satan also hates God and turns it on the children of God because he knows his fate. Satan also likes to get believers to argue with each other because then we look like the world and when we argue we are not speaking the truth of the gospel to others and are not a reflection of our Creator. So, in two ways we are turning people away from God. Satan loves that because he knows he will go to hell for his rebellion and the only way to get back at God is to steal as many souls as he can through lies and deception.
Anybody who does the work of Jesus will always be persecuted, Satan hates the children of God. Satan will always look for fault in the Children of God.
I can't but to be amazed that God sent His only Son to die for us, and a
very gruesome death at that, all for us. It is something I really want to
behold. Why would God do that for us? That's so powerful.
Ever since God intervened in my life I've had a conviction of putting
anything on top of a Bible. Everyone thinks I'm crazy or just "making a big
deal out of nothing". I know that the conviction is from the Holy Spirit. I
had a confirmation that what I have been convicted of is most assuredly a
sin. It was while reading the Holiness of God. Any object that is holy, or
anointed by God is holy. Technically, the Word is Jesus Christ. So the Word
is definitely very holy. Uzzah and Aaron both received a holy response from
God when they disobeyed God in regards to the Ark of the Covenant. They
were struck dead instantly. We are in the age of grace, so that wouldn't
happen now. If you are serious about becoming holy, if you are trying to go
100% into God then I would ask God to convict you of more and more sins
daily.
+consumedbyfire13 The word "holy" means "to be set apart" by God, for God, and for His purposes. You and I are holy if we've been set apart by God. Rejoice that you have been set apart. God gave you permission, dear one, when He said, "Be holy because I am holy." Rejoice!
