Thanks so much and as for achievement, I must say that in this day and age
with all going to electronics, perhaps actual printed music done the way it
had been done with the composer writing down the notes on paper by hand is
before long is to be a lost art? Who knows. Sometimes it almost makes me
feel like the last train out so to speak of a many centuries tradition. I
for one am not all that crazy about music-making with a machine. I still
like REAL Humans playing much better instead.
Hi Rodney! :-) Thank you and so glad you enjoyed the ever so "remarkable"
intro of myself just "happening" to have the camera on "just" as I
"discovered" what was in the mail box. I mean really, it could have been
just about anything. (Utility Bill, Car ins. maybe even a grand win
Sweepstakes for a free trip to the Land of Oz!) LOL That was so kind of you
to order these pieces. Not all too hard to play. My "take" so to speak of
the Renaissance. Hope you are having a great day! :-) C
Hey Dib! :-) Yes, always exciting for any composer to see his works in
print. I have made several other videos playing parts of or in one case a
complete 3 mvt.Sonata. All of these Sonatas are soon to be recorded and
made available by Mr. Carson Cooman (Composer/Recitalist and Consultant) of
the Cambrige-Harvard area of Mass. At this point I do not know the release
date of this CD or what lable it will be on, but I will be sure to let you
know. Carson is an absolute Genius!
Hi. I hope you are happy with many of these Sonatas. There IS going to be a
CD set made by a very well known American Organist/Professor/Composer.
(Apparently sometime in the Fall of 2012.) I posted part of an email via
the publisher in the video I just put on yesterday.) The excerpt. of what
was said is presently at the top of this list in this video.
Hi Tschick. I just saw that it was shown, but too soon for any information
to go with it. I have never worked with this publisher before so it just
could be they mailed me a few copies and will get all in order this week.
It is listed in the Catagory of "New Music." I hope you have been well and
playing up a storm of great Organ Music!
Wow, Justin !! How exciting ! Congratulations for this so important
achievement. You more than deserve ! As a suggestion, you should prepare
short videos of each of those lovely and charming sonatas, then to give the
listener a little taste of them. I am so happy for you ! Hugs from Brazil !
Same here, ( want to have ! ) please keep us posted as to the availability
of the publication and also the CD. That would be a welcome addition to any
CD collection. Congrats on the publication, nice addition to the repertoire
for the Reed Organ.
Hi. I just noticed that it WAS listed, but right now there is no other
information. They probably sent me some copies right after they came off
the press and this week offer more information. Thanks for such a very fine
comment. :-)
I wouldn't know any of these details as I am only the composer. Perhaps
they accept Money Orders? I haven't looked but there has to be something
that they will accept. (Visa Card over the phone?) Just a guess.
Hi Justin :) I just switched on the computer at the start of a new day
here, and here was your video! Wonderful start to the day!!!
Congratulations on your new publication. Looks great! Best wishes from James
Hi James and glad I just caught your comment cause right now it's about 12
Midnight here and I'm on my way to bed. LOL My best to you James and thanks
for the Congratulations. :-)
