Bonds was never found to use steroids, and they were not illegal in 2001.
I'm sure he used them, but we probably won't know. And who cares. When he
was with Pittsburgh he was great too.
+jetshockey5 agree the guy is in denial but I think what he meant when he said that steroids were not illegal is that MLB had no penalty in place in 2001. The suspensions didn't start until 2005 after the Canseco McGwire congressional hearings.
Lmao are you really this fucking stupid you dumb fuck? Haha, steroids weren't illegal in 2001? Wtf are you talking about, they absolutely were illegal in 2001, the guy is a huge fraud and will never see Cooperstown.
Steroids or not, Barry Bonds is one if not the greatest hitter of all time!
Steroids does not dictate hand eye coordination! Also who the hell knows,
how many people were using as well.
+Sonic The Hedgehog This guy is trying to talk like Barry Bonds wasn't better than Jr at everything no matter the time period. And where did Jim Thome come from.
+Sonic The Hedgehog Griffey Jr. was not even in the same league as Bonds. Griffey Jr. is overrated, and we don't have any clue if Griffey Jr. did or didn't do roids; we just know he didn't get caught, just as most MLBers didn't.
+CNep99 Yeah...by that logic I guess McGwire was a steroid sasquatch. Who cares. He cheated, but he was by far the best cheater! First ballot Hall of Famer. Barry not Mark.
Steroids still help you hit the ball. They allow you to have the same bat speed in game 160 as you did in game 1. But Bonds is still one of the greatest hitter of all time either way.
