Tom Cable had an 8-8 season and was fired.. When he was HC the Raiders were top 5 in RUSHING Hue Jackson is an offensive mind coach, and he had nobody! He made Campbell look good, and he made McFadden a good RB. Hue made DHB look decent. OUR OFFENSE WAS TOP 10. Cable and Hue were offensive coaches and our O showed progress Dennis Allen is a Defensive minded coach and our D HAS BEEN horrible for 3 seasons. If Oakland had a top 10 defense, we wouldn't want DA gone, BUT DA hasn't done anything!!!!!!! The only player we drafted that shows progress is SIO MOORE! We have no foundation at the D-line. TUCK and WOODLEY are older, when they are gone, who will be starting at DE?? Moore and Mack can be a foundation, but we need more When Al Davis was alive we had a better defense, our Run d was bad but our Passing D was top 10 every year! Man to man works look at the seahawks! We hire a defensive minded coach and the Raiders D hasn't showed anything! If our D was top 5, it would be a different story! Cable is the guy we need We let go Veldheer! He was suppose to be our Franchise LT for the next 10 years, Veldheer, Jackson And Wiz would been the foundation. Now we have to Draft a LT next year to protect Carr, because Watson can't beat Barnes This is a new thing also, if we fire DA, whats going to happen to Carr? Because sometimes Head coaches want their own QB, look at the situation that happen at Caroline, they drafted Clausen in the second round, and the next year the HC was fired and they drafted Newton. And that goes for Reggie if he gets fired also, our franchise is going to be in rebuilding mode for 5 years again if we hire a new HC
