As expected, Green Bay dominated Oakland throughout most of Super Bowl II. The Raiders could only score two touchdown passes from quarterback Daryle ...
Thanks for posting this. A couple little tidbits i realized watching this:
upshaw was in the super bowl in 3 decades... mike eischied punted in at
least 5 super bowls...
One thing I've noticed in your videos is that you want rookie quarterbacks
to immediately enter as a starter. Some of them aren't ready immediately.
Blaine Gabbert is one player to come to mind. A first round pick who was
forced to become a starter before he was ready, and look what happened with
his career so far. I agree with rookie quarterbacks staying on the sideline
for a year to get mentored, and have a drive or two in the regular season.
Then, start them the next year.
I'd be all for advocating starting Schaub if he were the better player. And as for the other QBs taken early in the draft this year; it's evident that the team didn't think highly of the player that was currently in place otherwise they wouldn't have drafted the QB early. Why waste time? Start the rookie, let him get better on the fly. You don't get better by sitting on the bench. That's a myth and we actually debunk that in our book :)
+27RAIDERMAN now that a head coach has a chance to spend a few years to prove himself I just dont know if this is the one we want to invest a lot of years but idk shit lets see what happends this year
+27RAIDERMAN I know realistic is one thing and potential is another , if they all get placed in the right spot and jive together theyre gonna make Raider Nation happy . I dont know if D Allen has enough passion or intensity ? What about some of you guys out there , whats your take on the coach I mean for real ?
