@bing492 To answer ur question we must take into consideration that the
Vios is a 1.5 & the Forte a 1.6. The Forte also has a more powerful engine
which has a 124 PS output as compared to the Vios' 109PS. The Forte has
more torque too. That said, the Forte may have slightly more fuel
consumption, but its hard to say. I'd go for the Forte though cos it's
cheaper, better specs and is a best selling KIA worldwide. The Vios only
sells in South East Asia. That should tell u something. Do test both :)
@AutoTVmy it performs really great! but as of now i cant use it fully with
a high speed.. beacause i was told that the only speed limit for the 1st
1000 kilometer odo reading is 80km/h only.. this is for the break in.. that
is why i cant use the car very fast.. but my odo is already at 500 that is
why im excited to have it serviced for the 1st time at toyota.. c: but
overall, the car performs very excellent! its seatbelt warning buzz is so
cool.. i am always forced to have my seatbelt on..lol
@stgrenade64 I'm pretty sure that there won't be a new Vios in the
immediate future.(if not we would have heard about it by now) Anyway, once
they do a facelift, normally its perhaps another year or 2 years before
they launch a completely new car. And as you know, they do update the Vios
quite rarely... I wouldn't bother waiting.
@bing492 Haha cool, yes the white Forte is very nice :) And the "Kia" badge
that u see on some Forte's is actually purcahsed and installed on their
own. You can probably ask the Forte car clubs where to get it. Enjoy your
coming ride, and don't forget to test drive before buying just to make sure
that you really like it :)
Hello, I wonder if your vios also have that steering feel. Like when you
drive on the road, your steering wheel and pedal also feel the road (if
it's bumpy or not, etc.). You feel the buzzing feeling on your hand when
you handle the steering wheel?
@frogz6873 Ah I see. The Persona is actually an excellent car, in both
value and drive quality. But since 70+k is your budget, don't forget to
also test drive the Kia Forte. That's another excellent choice :)
@AutoTVmy Vios is sucks..how on earth with this J specs with high price tag
u consider as a good car, its empty dude...It should be less than
65K..blood sucking ToyolTA
@bigglyguy If I gave my true opinion Toyota will never loan me any cars
ever again. The Vios really is rubbish... not up to par to any car in the
same price category.
@AutoTVmy Thanks for the quick reply. Considering the clutch pedal safety
feature you have mention, will it be easy to install car alarm with "remote
engine start" ?
we just bought a new toyota VIOS 1.3j.. it is so cool! we bought the mica
blue one... best car ever at its very affordable price of P600,000.00
(philippine money) c:
I would like to know more about the Vios 1.5J, because my sister intend to
buy this car, for lady driver i hope it will not give any hassle. Please
advice . 30/6/11
I don't as a matter of fact but I'm looking at buying a car and the Vios is
on the shopping list - along with the Honda City and, less likely, the
Proton Persona
