On Friday 30 May, Zipcar invited thought leaders from across the sharing economy to join us in a conversation around "How sharing makes cities more liveable" ...

Request-Best Cities to Live in Without a Car
A man's vision will deteriorate by 50 to the point he can't drive at night. He wants to know aside from NYC what other towns are the best for mass transit. Cappy ...
Aaron, one possibility might be Kent Ohio because Kent State University has
a very good bus system, mainly for students. (At least they did in the
1980s when I was a student there). However, it depends on whether he can
find a job there.
+Brian Dean Kent State Univesity has no real majors besides math, physics and pre med, the cheapest 1 bedroom apartments around go for about $600. I say try your luck in Denver, Madison WI and Bridgeport.//www.apartmenthomeliving.com/apartment-finder/Kent-Village-Apartments-Kent-OH-44240-188747//www.kent.edu/cas/majors-minors//www.bestcolleges.com/features/cities-for-students-without-cars/
I've lived there (though only for 3 months), Minneapolis for a few years, and Dallas for a year now. Though the nightlife is awesome especially for dance/nightclubs and the public transportation decent, I'm so glad I now live in Dallas! More live rock music options, better train and bus systems, and in general people seem friendlier to even strangers.
A lot of people I know out here in Vegas seem to live effortlessly without
a car. The city is built on public transportation and they never have to
wait for a bus or whatever in shitty weather. And they run 24/7.
Just don't have any bad habits...you won't last long in this city.
+cfapps7865 Yeah, but you better have a job lines up(either that or have enough money to last a very long time). High unemployment. And the buses to run quite often, but you still have to transfer, wait and it takes ages to get to where you want to go.Also, Las Vegas isn't the cleanest city either..trash everywhere. Everyone gets enamored by the Strip, but actually live there for awhile and you see the truth about Las Vegas.
Portland isn't too bad.
Here in Denver, we have a nice light rail system, and we're expanding
several new lines that open at the end of this month. You can go from
Golden to the International Airport. The standard of living and pricing is
sky rocketing, and it's pretty leftist too,so keep that in mind. Also,
you'll still either need to drive or take a bus to the light rail
stations,so commuting can be a pain in the ass.
Trust me, I know, but Gresham has gotten worse in the past 5 years. My mom went back there 2 years ago. She saw two SWAT teams run up and down the street, and both the bars she drank at had her cross the street due to a police blockade from a murder that had happened on two separate occasions.
Really, Chicago and NYC aren't that bad. I've been to both and the only
thing that sucks is the cold and some extreme leftists. I'm a republican
but just because a city predominantly has different views than you doesn't
mean it's bad. I live in Miami, and yeah it's really overcrowded.
+TreborHG_93 that happened to me also but I only had class. Mta is bat shit retarded and should pay when someone gets fired because a fu@king 13 got his phone stolen
