I made an absolute fabulous cabbage and carrot with pork stirfy tonight.I
started 2 cups of water boiling and added in a cup of carrots. I sauteed
one cup of marinated pork and removed it, then added in a fat tablespoon of
this to the oil in the pan and let it fry and break up for about two
minutes then added in scallions and a quarter cup of cabbage. Added in
cooked carrots. When it was cooked I added in a little oyster sauce.
Fabulouso!
Yes this is the black bean sauce you would use in Jjajangmyeon. And I might
add you would not ever go back to packaged paste ever after eating
Jjajangmyeon and using this good stuff. Paw Paw
mom used to make this, by the ton, she would fill up coffee cans, ice cream
buckets, lard buckets, whatever she had, she was a helluva divinity maker,
she would seperate each layer wit wax paper----hell she even made different
colors of the stuff---merry christmas guy and thanx for the trip down
memory lane
