I really envy you for keeping your monarchy ;^; I want our emperor back
too. I mean god look at you geting awesome days off like that!! I think
that most people in europe alwasy enjoy royal weddings, its just something
comforting for us to know that there is an institution that will not change
its opinion with every coming election or every other passing law :3 For
all you Brits out there. Life wihthout a monarchy is sad! You keep looking
at empty castles how they decay without any life within.
@oboqoo Ba ba ba, they manage but only because they got rid of their
monarchy in a more stable time...well then they gained it again and got rid
of it again and so on and so on untill its I think the 5th or so republic
of France. Anywhos they had time to incorporate culture into their daily
life with or without nobles (although they do have quite a few nobles left
also they hold most of the nobles from empires and kingdoms that fell in
the first world war)
I started off really cynical about the whole thing, but then realised we
have so much bad news, so why not spend a day celebrating our culture!? I
used to be like, "Urgh, this is such as waste of taxpayer's money." Then I
found out that the monarchy makes the British economy £160million a year...
Which shut me right up.
@rossexton Yeah I don't think people realise how much money they bring into
the country! People see them as posh toffs that sit around spending our
money when really it's not the case at all! They're an important part of
our history and more people need to realise that :)
@oboqoo Do you really need to be so disgustingly rude? This video is what's
called an opinon. I address it politely and fairly. If you want to shove
your opinions rudely down people's throats rather than having an
intelligent discussion, then please do it somewhere else.
@bunnies2000 It's so awesome that people from other countries can be so
interested in another country's culture like that! This is what I mean
about bringing people from all over the world together! Amazing :)
i think it's funny how much Americans actually make of it. like to us, it's
an idea so foreign that it's all the gossip and we make a huge fuss and get
up at 3 am.
