Do gaming glasses work? NoScope Hydra Review & Unboxing
Have you ever wondered if gaming glasses or yellow computer glasses work? I've been wondering for a while and finally tried them out. Turns out I love them, ...
Just came across your channel as I was looking for reviews about these
glasses. I've just recently got a sponsorship with NoScope as I have just
started my own gaming channel recently but haven't yet picked up a pair of
these for myself, just wanted to make sure there worth it and I do have
trouble with eye strain and I also experience the same redness in my eyes
as said you do. But after watching your review I think I will
definitely get a pair! Btw you seem like a really down to earth and awesome
person so you've got yourself a Sub!
+White Wolf Thanks! Everything I've said about them still holds true. They make my eyes feel a lot better when I wear them and I don't get that redness - the challenge is making myself wear them. Because of my computer setup they have glare that stops people watching from seeing my eyes so clearly; the same is true of my regular prescription glasses, so I tend not to wear any glasses when I record. When I'm not recording I wear these often and they help! I also find I fall asleep easier after wearing these at night on the computer versus when I don't, and bonus - they're good for your cell phone or tv too :) Congrats on your sponsorship!
+Austen Wahl Thanks for the tip, I felt that way too but didn't have the space in the room I was in. Once I have my filming setup complete it will be better :)
Hey there, I have a question about these gaming glasses, my eyes are
working properly for me now, and I hate glasses, for how long can you play
in those glasses until you have to take them off?
+Daedrat - I never feel the need to take them off personally, once I put them on they stay on and I forget I'm wearing them. But if you hate glasses and your eyes feel fine already they might not be the product for you :)
@coachannagray You're so awesome! I love that you call the dorkiness, cute!
I'm doing great! Hope you and the fam and your mom are too! Hope to see you
sometime soon!
How do 3D glasses and Polarisation Work?
3D glasses can do more than just make films jump out at you. Find out some of the other tricks you can use them for, and the science behind how they work.
Why does it change color in one direction and block light in the other
direction?
Is it because of the quarter wave plate? What is the physics of the quarter
wave plate that affects the color and direction of the net oscillation
vector?
The combination of quarterwave plate/linear polariser means that circularly polarised light can only pass through in one direction (if it passes through the linear polariser first it can't get through the quarterwave plate at the angle they're glued together in).The colour effects are known as photoelasticity, and rely on birefringence of these materials of the light passing through them and the resulting interference of light. I don't know all of the maths for it, but a google search for photoelasticity does bring up articles about if you want to go through that.
wow, nice video, very informative. I am still not quite sure what does the
quarter waveplate does. And also, can i use the lenses of 3d glasses to
make polarized glasses for fisherman?
+Zhenhao ZhouBetter than nothing, but depending upon the quality of the lens, it might not be that much better than nothing. Just be careful when testing and it should be fine.
A quarter-wave plate essential just allows you to convert between two different types of polarization. If you want to block light from reflections off of the water you'll need a lens that can block linear polarized light (in a horizontal polarization, I believe). You'd need to test the individual lens as they're all slightly different but you should be able to block out some of the reflected light if held at the correct angle.CAUTION: however I would not use anything to protect your eyes from the sun that's not explicitly made to do so as it may not block enough light, resulting in eye damage.
Gaming/Computer Glasses Do They Work?
Here I test out my gaming glasses from no scopes and I give you my thoughts on what worked and didn't work for me. This isn't a sponsored video just my honest ...
It's funny I actually just recently got some no scope glasses. I've only
had them for a couple days, but I can definitely agree with that you said.
I've had pretty bad insomnia in the past likely due to looking at a screen
for extended periods of time, and from the couple times I've used them I
have noticed less eye straining for sure, and no headaches. Definitely
would recommend to those people who are on the fence about their actual
usefulness.
+Tony Chute Yeah its hard not to be shouting this from the rooftops because so many people suffer from this. Unfortunately a lot of people think it's a money grab. I hope to change that.
Clark Kent's Glasses Do Work!
Why does nobody work out that Superman and Clark Kent are the same person. Surely nobody would be fooled by a simple pair of glasse. However Henry ...
Brilliant. I particularly like the lady in the check skirt next to the
black guy who is seen after the line "I'm sexy and I know it". A star is
born...
Advice to all, just download the free program caled F.lux. It is better and
does the same thing for free without needing to wear glasses. Instead of
wearing glasses it gives your monitor a tint depending on the time of day
and you can set it.
+SeKToR actually it does not do one thing, and that is, it does not keep your eyes from getting dry, benefits of glasses is they make your eyes more hydrated thus less strained
