@StoicBehavioR I can see how his size might be viewed as a negative, but his field vision is impressive. He's patient in the pocket long enough to manipulate the secondary, and if it's not there, he's got quick feet to elude the rush and by time. Another impressive aspect of his game is his accuracy and quick release on the run once plays break down.

@tj1000001 he doesnt need to be. the offense will not be built to rest on his shoulders, partic. his freshman year. they're completely diff. systems anyway. if he QBs next year it's unlikely to be as the main guy but as a different look run/pass guy to mix with the more pure passer QB (rees, hendrix or crist).

Hell yea, this kids accuracy is on point plus he has deceptive speed and can get you 30 yards with his feet randomly. GREAT JOB NOTRE DAME LETS GET A RB AND OUR CLASS WILL BE ON POINT ( we all know cam mcdaniel will be a saftey)

@Bdlegette He's going to be a starting D1 QB come next year (hopefully) and would have been a top 2-3 QB last year if he was 6'2" or taller.....why wouldn't he be known? He had 5 losses total as a football player.

Exactly right, Denard could never make the throws Golson can. Also, Denard physically wont hold up the next two year at Michigan being a run first QB. Welcome to ND!!

He reminds me a lot of Vince Young. Not as physically big, obviously, but his play style seems A LOT like Vince Young.
