I saw an episode of CHIPS yesterday on ME-TV from 1981 called Dangerous Indy or something like that. They filmed it, there with the water slide. There was a motorcycle gang who was street racing up and down Firestone Blvd. Later on, two guys were racing in the San Gabriel River bed being chased by Larry Wilcox, Jon Baker in his blue pickup. Bruce Jenner played Officer Steve Mc. Leish, Jon Baker's partner, brother of some of the motorcycle racers. This location is in Downey, CA. I used to work in this area. Drive a few miles west on Firestone to a historical drive in that is now a Bob's Big Boy. Safe travels, Adam The Woo!

OMG my daughter is actually studying the Outsiders movie in her 8th grade class, so for Christmas a lot of the stuff she got was with the Outsiders on it. Her friends and her talk about SODA POP, ohhhhhh, remember those days, shirt off, towel on, out the shower scene, ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, the memory's.

+Evan Drince  We gave the world over to hip-pop and the whazzup-dawg generation, coupled with Facebook and Smartphones are in charge now.  So - yeah - we can't walk down streets and we have to worry about schools and arcades and movie cinemas vis a vis deadly violence.

Yeah just the same for me growing up in Detroit. I crushed on a lot of those guyz. I wish they would do a remake.....but who could pull it off?

+Jen PeaseThose were the days that today's generation will never know.  I remember walking home down 41st street in Chicago not having to worry about crime like they do today. Talked about the movie with my three buddies all the way home and it was about a mile and a half walk.

I was also very pumped, so was my brother, as pumped as when he seen Rocky, yeah.
