I believe we are lacking in goalkeeper, central defender, wing back, dm and a striker. There are so many cheap options in the market we can try to secure though if we don't have too much fund. Ron Vlaar, Sami Khedira should be good options as cb and dm. Moreno and Enrique should start on wing backs. We should bring back wisdom and use flanagan. They fit the wing back position more than markovic. Feel bad for markovic having to waste his talent on wingback. As for Shaqiri i think he can improve the squad for sure but deal looks unlikely. There is not much striking option. Out of linked players i think vietto and lacazette can come good. Personally i prefer lavezzi and higuain but doubt we have the fund to go for them. Berahino at 25 million is too much. If we can prise Begovic or Cech that would be ideal goalkeeper for us. If not we shall settle with either Ochoa or Neto. 

We need to look at buying Neto cause Chelsea will never give us Cech especially now they've got rid of Schwarzer! We need a strong, experienced defender, I'm not sure who though? I like Shaqiri, but do we NEED him? Is he the kind of player who would make a statement to the test of the BPL? I've said it before and I'll say it again.. Lacazette!! 

Personally: IN: Begovic, Varane and I would look at getting in Bender/Gundogan/Kovacic (personally I would like to see Kovacic play for us but I'd rather have a proven CDM if not now at least in the summer) OUT: Borini I'd be very happy with just getting in Begovic and Varane but I feel like if we sell Borini we need to recall Origi or sign a striker with pace to rotate with Sturridge, he might grow to become better but I don't think Raheem is suited enough to be a striker as if he can't get around the keeper he won't score there Everyone is saying to get more attacking midfield players but I think if Brendan does this right by rotating Gerrard in a more advanced role and we introduce a new holding midfielder then we don't need toe Others players I would like us to have a look at, at some point: Clyne, Reus, Dani Alvez, Khedira, Chiellini

Petr Cech and Bony won't happen. Chelsea have already sold Schwarzer to Leicester yesterday so Cech ain't gonna come sadly. Bony looks set to be joining Man City so it looks near impossible to sign him now.

Thoughts on Arsenals Campbell? He was fantastic in the world cup. Probably not what we need as we have Coutinho, Lallana and Sterling for the CAM role but he could play back in the Gerrard mold as well.

We have been signing players that have potential and need time to grow. The real question is: What about RIGHT NOW Brendan? We lost Suárez, Gerrard leaving in summer. We need some big name. Why didn't we just spend our £175m on 3 top talents rather than 10 mediocre players who need time.
