My prediction: 4 cyl turbo 315 hp 270 lb-ft rwd $40,000.
It will come out in 2018-2019, and by then it will be lagging behind much
better cars in the same segment.
Your timing is off once again Toyota. This concept should've been
completed 3 years ago, with production planned for 2016.
It better be turbo powered and no less than 6 cylinders to keep us happy.
I'm also suspecting hybrid power to make it a rocket off the line due to
the instant torque. Toyota you owe us fans this being that you abandoned us
for so long.
Inline four cylinder.. with big block.. twin turbo supercharger.. light
weight engine and car that producing 500 horse power.. double the size of a
normal piston that can be seen on a 4 cylinder toyota engine...
Rarely is Toyota secretive about powertrains and a release of new
products. Remember, this is a concept, so we're not sure if a version like
this will be in Toyota showrooms.
Definitely not Lexus! Definitely unique! I think it's better looking than
the LFA! Hopefully it will be AWD and compete with the LFA and be 200K+
less expensive.
