How Do We Predict the Future: Brains Rewards and Addiction
In this fascinating presentation, The Salk Institute's Terry Sejnowski explores how by its nature the human brain is susceptible to the effects of addictive ...
In addition to the his talk, i just wanted to note that serotonin is
primarily found in the gut. Therefore when u eat breakfast and more
constantly throughout the day, you are less likely to overeat, and the
level of serotonin is kept steady. Conversely, ignoring hunger increases
ghrelin levels, so when u eat again u get a high release of serotonin, and
tend to overeat every time and end up storing that extra calories as fat.
57:00 (?) it's bad to use heroin & other illegal drugs because they
"hijack" evolution? and Prozac doesn't? so even though Prozac & every other
psych meds are addictive (try withdrawing from them) they're ok because
their supply is constant?
i think my dreams can make futures i remember the dream about sumthing i
dont remember what dream it was but when i woke oone thing that wasin my
dream happened in real life no kidding it happened be4 it happened 3 times
or sumthing
ive been working on a new theory that can train the brain to see the future
by stimulating the brain into super position and quantum entanglement. its
very raw right now. but, i produced a vision based on my studies
there are many faults in the theory of evolution.....atleast humans didnt
come from monkeys!!! One day science will prove that!! but unfortunately
the scientists are far behind!!!!!!
For the second time I think about this gentleman of music, go further in my
opinion on this topic:
I would say that this is is my music of choice, because more than hide this
feeling but it is indisputable that feeling.
I'd say it's in its structure, whether musical, whether in voice, these two
becomes a perfect symbiosis, that even with the passing of time I think
completely unchanged and untouched in its limpid in their loudness.
Not being nostalgic, and even for the views already expressed by others in
the Forum, in which share this same opinion.
Really is the magic of music in its 4 sides, in its most absolute in
perfect harmony between man and the universe of our existence?
No matter how hard I look, look for some questions about all this is the
magic of music especially when do with simplicity, because of simple things
become beautiful?
Fantastic, Absolutely BRILLIANT.
Finally say this big Sir, what we need in our days and lots of good music
to listen to, but it's almost to say ... hear, listen, then blow out, with
all due respect, for some that make quality.
Grateful once again for this melody IMTEMPORAL.
Many thanx for bringing this song back into my life. I have such great
memories , it was top of the charts in 1968 (USA) & I bought it & played it
over & over. I remember driving into the office one day (in Richmond, Va) &
hearing it on a live radio show where some prat phoned in to ask, "What did
she die from?" I just couldn't believe it & I'm being polite by saying I
don't remember what the radio host said!! Oh well, that's a hell of a long
time ago!
Thanx again, I've just added it to my playlist :) :)
