Completely Uninstall iTunes, QuickTime, and Other Software From Windows by Britec
Completely Uninstall iTunes, QuickTime, and Other Software From Windows by Britec Using Revo Uninstaller to uninstall the Apple software: Revo Uninstaller is ...
At 5:58, when you check registry items to be deleted, you go all the way up
the chain and click HKEY_CURRENT_USER. Wouldn’t that delete the whole
HKEY_CURRENT_USER key? Then at 7:57 you do not go all the way up the chain
and just check the bolded items. It is a bit confusing. The window
subheading says "Only checked bolded items and their subitems will be
deleted!" Is it just a design quirk in Revo? Thanks for another great video.
I have a corrupted version of itunes, when I try and uninstall using my
computers usual methods then re-install, I find that I'm still signed in to
itunes, clearly something is hiding in the registry. I cant update my
iphone or files. WHY CANT APPLE ISSUE THEIR OWN UN-INSTALL PROGRAM , making
it simple for everyone. Itunes is a major pain.
Thanks man. Your videos are great. I'm trying to uninstall itunes and
reinstall it but I cant seem to get rid of Apple Mobile Device Support. If
i try remove it with Revo its telling me the installer has insufficient
privileges to modify this file so what can I do? Thanks for the help again,
and i'm definitely subscribing
All you have to do is go to the control panel, Programs and Features, right
click Itunes and then click Uninstall. Simple as that! No worries with the
registry or anything complicated. All you have to do after that is Restart
your computer! Its so much simpler! :) It worked for me, like If it worked
for you too!
Revo Uninstaller simply sucks. It does not detect iTunes and QuickTime. If
the only additional task is to delete registry entries then it is not that
big deal. However there is one thing that I see has missed and that is
deletion of the libraries. Non deletion of libraries prevent going to
earlier version!
hi brian, i am currently getting the message 'iTunesMiniPlayer.Resources'
is not a valid short file name when trying to remove, and it just wont
uninstall, i did move my itunes files to my hard disk drive to free up some
space on my pc, i think this may have been a bad idea now :s any ideas?
thanks
It's always easier & faster to "select all" with Revo; I've never had a
problem- it's never broken anything...not trusting it usually leaves stuff
from the program on your drive & THAT becomes extremely hard to find &
remove- it's easier to reinstall & Revo it again...
Revo creates a restore point by default so I'm wondering if you left that
option on on purpose, for extra restore points. I generally create a manual
restore point and turn that option off before removing multiple pieces of
software; speeds things up quite a bit.
Oh god... I got an iphone 5 and I can't do anything with it because of
apples shitty uncustomizable software parameters... I have a custom
registery and itunes refuses to understand this and just says "invalid
folder path"
Just wanted to say thanks, i used Revo instead and i managed to uninstall
it all. my original problem was that I couldnt restore my iphone. i have
now been able to with my fresh re-installation of itunes. nice one :)
Brian; for those who want to use a similar program there is quicktime
alternative! Works with everything Quicktime is used for without the I
tunes shit and FREE!
Hey, i've uninstalled itunes in another way (don't ask me how) but
everytime i start my pc now the itunes webpage comes up. any idea on how to
fix that?
Revo team advised that 32bit Revo will only detect 32 bit applications! It
won't work correctly on 64 bit systems. Scooda912: Was your PC a 64-bit
system?
AMAZING, the new itunes is terrible, now ive reverted to an older version,
with your video, before the usual uninstall wouldn't work, thanx so much :)

iTunes Match Part 3-Upgrading Your Music
In this screencast I cover how to upgrade your music to iTunes Plus 256kbps. We also cover a way to determine which songs in your library need to be upgraded ...
Hi Todd, I have a question: I followed your steps and everything worked
fine but I can't use the replaced songs on my iPhone. I can find them in
the folder 'Apple Music' but they don't get synchronised to my iPhone. They
only show up when I'm connected to the internet but there's no way for me
to listem to them offline. I also can't play them on other devices. Seems
like I don't 'own' them. Do you have any ideas?
+Moritz Einsfeld Thanks for the comment. Are you using the new Apple Music App? If so, there is a bug right now between Match and the new Apple Music service that effects some users from what I have heard. I'm hoping Apple gets it fixed in the next update. Here is an article on how to use the two together, maybe it will help until then: //www.imore.com/how-turn-itunes-match-when-you-have-apple-music-enabled
