A race with my 05 350Z against a buddies 07 Daytona Charger RT. I had a bad launch (traction control left on) but still ended up winning in the end. It was a ...
+Carlos Flores It still beat the charger. I accidentally left traction control on so the launch was messed up which is why he was ahead at first. You should check out my other videos. I have a video where I race him on nitrous too.
The weight difference alone should tell you that the Z would win. I own a
Charger RT and I absolutely love it. But it's a big car. Now put it up
against a SHO or a Impala ss and then we can talk.
Thanks for commenting! Your right the Charger is much heavier which is a lot of the reason it lost. But the Z isn't exactly a Miata either. All thing considered I would say these are still good comparisons. I'm not sure about an SHO or Impala SS as comparisons but check out my video of the Z against a Camaro SS... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eV5ccr_clKg&list=PLybFj2TycmFUUSUTnFgfOj3lYhEquEcrM
2013 Nissan Maxima vs 2013 Dodge Charger RT (40 mph roll.)
Just raced a maxima today, not sure what year though. For sure in between
2011-2014. I was actually surprised by how well it kept up at first. Raced
from a 40 roll in 2nd and he kept up all the way until I hit 4th and after
that I tore him a new asshole. Lol...But other than that, it did pretty
good. No hate towards the maxima, I love nissan. -2013 dodge charger RT
owner.
i got to say thats a real nice build man, sounds great. But still not sure if you've gained 1000cc worth of umph with that supercharger. But either way its a nice ride. Plus if were comparing na to boost, a boosted 3.5 maxi will destroy a boosted 2.7
People can say what they want but I personally have beaten every maxima
that I've raced from 2001-2013 I have a 13' rt so not sure what happened
here but good win.
first successful Leaf charging session - at 8kw. Using 3D-printed plug, Arduino Due-based CAN controller, and stock EMotorWerks SmartCharge-12000 12kW ...
Okay, I've checked out many videos and pages here. What I would like to
know is if you have a "black box" that would input 240 volt ac from the hi
current, level 2 public chargers to the smart charge 12000, and then output
through to a CHAdeMo plug into my 2011 Leaf's QCDC input port? Or the
parts to put together to accomplish this. I live in the boonies and am a
long way from any public Level 3 QCDC stations, 1000's of miles away,
actually.
Excellent work. We all look forward to the kickstarter being released!
This would be a great way of providing semi-fast charging to businesses
thinking of investing in a charger on arterial routes. As it is, Minnesota
has ZERO DC fast chargers. Progress!
I never thought of using a 3D printer to clone the Yazaki connector. How
clever. It would be good if Yazaki would just sell you the connector/cable
assembly.
is anyone working on a chademo interface for ev's which do not have a
chademo charge port allowing them to use the chademo fast charge stations.
I guess an arduino could supply the neccesary canbus information from the
car to the charge station if the chademo protocol has been cracked
+Valery Miftakhovgood afternoon, here in the UK and Europe public access Chademo charge stations are fairly numerous. I have an azure dynamics transit connect which I would like to upgrade to level 3 dc charging which is why I would be very interested in such a device.
+Paul Drury right. if you have access to live battery terminals, this is relatively easy to do. Not sure there is a market for this, though... There are so few CHAdeMO stations installed...
+Valery Miftakhov I was thinking of a chademo port installed in the car permanently connected to the battery pack with an arduino generating the relevant can signals so it can use public chadmo charge stations just like a leaf
