Yeah, it doesn't respond well to cold at all. If I have to plasti-dip
something when it's cold outside, I put the can next to a heater vent in my
house for an hour or so, then shake it up really well and go outside. Take
the can in with you between coats. Also, if it acts up too much while you
are in the middle of spraying, turn the can upside down, point it away from
whatever you are working and spray it. That does an ok job temporarily
unclogging spraypaint from cans.
I left a can of Plasti Dip in my car overnight on a chilly night and the
same thing happened to me. I left the can standing on the driveway for an
hour or so in the sun and then shook it vigorously (as per the directions
on the can) for about a minute and then it sprayed normal. So basically I'm
saying, yes. I believe the cold temperature may have an effect on that.
i happen to have a euro exotic as well it is my second my first was a red
alfa romeo but this time it is a navy blue renault my question is can
plastidip stick to a bare metal unprimed surface on the car? i hope to use
the navy blue plastidip for repair as well as appearance.
ok so ive been using plasti-dip for quite a while now, i just recently
bought some cans. when i use it it just splatters everywhere, the nossle
isn't clogged. i shake the can. but it still splatters. would the cold
tempurature have an effect on that?
I am thinking of doing my GTI blaze blue with silver metalizer. Does the
blaze blue come in a car kit? From your other videos it looks like I would
only need 1 coat of the metalizer to give it a gloss look with just a
little flake in it?
you have to love German cars, since most vehicles were at least German
cars, audi, golf gti, mercedes, etc. It's funny you love German cars in the
States and in Germany we love U.S. cars: o) super video as always greetings
from Germany
can i apply plasti dip with the Paint Zoom sprayer? or needs to be this
gun? also if i want to paint my car gloss metalic white would i need 3
gallons of white, 1 gallon of metalizer and 3 gallons od gloss?
same happened to me the cold really affected the spray, i had to leave my
cans inside to warm up and i only painted trim and a grill so i did it
indoors, it wont spray even when cold it sucks
Dude, i live in montreal canada. how do i go about getting a pro car kit in

Blue if possible.
I love it! I'm glad you guys got the blue in the car kit. Im gonna dip my
car and I wanted that blueberry blue from the s4 and with this I'll get
that for sure.
navy blue plastidip only available from dipyourcar.com? really? i like
this blue than i do the black and blue because that honestly did come out
purple.
Whatsup man, i have a bmw midnight blue... Bumper is scratched up! If i use
this spray on the bumper will it match up to the color of car or be waaay
off? Please reply thanks!
It will be matte...Unless you use the glossifier but I doubt you'd be able to get it to match. I'd recommend doing a totally different color and making it look custom. Or do the whole car.
Your painting technique is terrible. You have to let go of the trigger
sometime. Show the close up of the runs and drips that you made. Those door
jambs will rub off in a few days and you didn't tape off the door seals or
the locking mech.
+Todd Cercone The most expensive part on that car is the bumpers. I would tape off the bumpers before anything else. I drilled holes in mine for fog lights and the VW people went nuts. Some people do not understand the VW culture.
