Hey, thanks for asking. I would start off in an indoor gym and then get comfortable with the equipment and height. Then venture out into the world. I'm not an outdoor lead climber so I always 2nd. The Jachia is high on the south side of the Grandes Jorasses and approach is pretty tough - 7 or 8 hours of uphill on some tricky terrain! It's a great spot though :)
