From what I've read in the special addition Greedo shot first either to put Han on a higher moral ground which (ruins his character development) or the MMPA would've given the movie a PG-13 rating due to Han attacking unprovoked which is stupid because 1. Greedo has Han at gunpoint and 2. Obi-Wan sliced that guy's arm off before he got a chance to shoot

I never could figure out this whole "Han Shot First" complaint, it's a 10 second scene in a 2 hour movie. Did the entire universe hinge on Han Shooting Greedo First instead of blowing up the Death Star or something other then that it's a small detail
