Yeah, who does good heart surgery on the east coast says Savage? Well shitforbrain,Williams could have had the same treatment in Canada,He went to Florida rather than convalescing in Montreal in a hotel in the winter time when he could enjoy the luxuries of his Florida condo.And yes he is also rich.So it makes no difference to him if his surgery is free in Canada which it is.I know you couldn't name any other locations in the US where he could have had the same treatment.There are many in Canada

I'm Canadian and i love listening to savage. It is true our system is crap, slow and run down. But, that being said, I do enjoy the fact that my friends who can't afford health care receive it the same as I do. But what pisses me off is the fact that no matter what I do if im sick, I have to wait in the same lines and have weak service despite my ability to pay more into the system and support people who don't work. Let's get some sort of privatization here that coincides with the socialization

Ok he went south, because the procedure was experimental and unproven to work. Canadian Health care wouldn't support this kind of procedure BECAUSE IT'S UNPROVEN AND EXPERIMENTAL... Typical "Big Pharma"/Republican rhetoric. Our healthcare system is not perfect, but at least we don't have to mortgage the house when we get sick and need healthcare, like some Americans have had to do. What about Americans going north to Canada to get affordable medications because "Big Pharma" preys on the sick?

I know I grew up in the Detriot area and on the weekend there were senior citizens by the busload going into Windsor to buy cheaper drugs. Lots of Canadian's want us to get SIngle Payer because they are tired of Americans raiding their pharmacys. Every year tens of thousands of Americans die because insurance companys will not cover them or they drop them. No God since the time of the Ancient Aztecs has demanded human sacrafice on that level.

Michael Savage lies as usual. The surgery that Danny Williams wanted to have done is done throughout Canada. The biggest clue about why Danny Williams went to Miami is because he owns a Condo a few miles away from the Mt Sinai Hospital. He wanted to recuperate for a month or longer in the warm sunny weather of Florida instead of the colder Climes of Canada. Which is exactly why some Canadians go south for health care, the weather.

You are correct. Ironically, Danny Williams owns a Condo about 5 miles away from the Mt Sinai Hospital in Miami. He chose Miami for the weather, Danny Williams also lied about the inevasive mitral heart surgery he wanted not being available in Canada, it is available throughout Canada. If one could choose Miami in Feb, or Maine, Chicago, North Dakota in Feb, where would one go if they had the financial means to do so?

I think the death panels in Obamacare are a little more in your face. In Canada, they just play stupid, hope the patient slips into a slow fade out, and the family doesn't know better. There should be work for healthcare consulting for those families that need advice on their care of their loved ones. Otherwise, the death panels in Canada can remain undercover.

Cheers I totally agree with you. One of our problems in Canada is that Americans are being sent up here for health care because the cost in the US is way higher then it needs to be. Even the American health insurance companies realize that the cost is way higher then it needs to be, but they are the primary problem with the American system.

It's the lie that will not die and I am sick to death of these demegogues defending America's joke of a health care system. People need to go read the study by the Canadian Ministry of Health called Phantoms in the Snow. For every Canadian that comes here for care there are about a dozen Americans that go to Canada for care.

Well, Canada isn't perfect, I will admit, but I could never really figure out why so many Americans dislike or even hate us. Again, we've made mistakes, I'm sure, but do we ever do anything that horrible? I mean, you guys sure love all the stuff we export to you, like doctors, so y.u.b.h8n?
