+ZackyBumpo That's pretty much what I do already, I release an hour-long episode over 2 or 3 days. I really don't have time for much more, so as for right now my upload schedule is staying where it is.PS: but no for long. you will see a LOT of beyond earth videos soon on top of whatever I am already putting out, maybe one video per day. EU4AOW may be the same way.
I have considered longer videos, but they're really not feasible for technical reasons. (Copy-pasta from a previous comment):Rendering one of these episodes (25min@1080p) takes about 1hr-1hr15min on my computer. (If you're not familiar with rendering, its when we convert our edited raw files into files that are compressed and in a standard format so we can upload them to youtube). When I'm rendering video it takes up 90% of my CPU and causes the computer to heat up significantly. The longer I render a video for, the slower the computer gets because it gets overheated. I once rendered a 45 min civ video that despite not even being twice as long as one of these videos, took over 2.5 hours to render. Rendering 1hr+ videos would both take forever and I don't think it would be good for my computer to put it under stress like that for so long. And also Youtube likes to take forever processing longer videos which gets very annoying.

Well played. Maybe on Epic pace you would have had a chance.
I would like to see a war-locked scenario (an option in one of the mods, I
forgot the name) in which you try to train up some massively experienced
units and give them names, a bit like XCOM, and the game is about balancing
your income from trade with protected city-states against beating down the
neighbours to preserve your human tactical advantage.
I agree.Standard Speed is just TOO FAST for me. (Or was this Quick Speed? I cannot remember now....DOH)It feels weird. LOL Epic Speed is the 'Correct Balance' in my humble opinion.
Yes, ENGLAND! With an Extra Spy, Extra Ship Movement, Longbowmen, and Ships of the Line.Plus if you have an Upgraded Scout to Archer then that will become a Longbowmen that of course when it is a Machine Gun/Bazooka would be awesome!Even playing once again as America is fun.I always build as many MinuteMen as possible so when they upgrade they are like Scouts. That is fantastic in Jungle/Forest/Hilly areas.Plus the B-17 is no slouch with Evasion and Siege 1 right out of the gate.
If you can stop rome from expanding like a swarm of locust they arent that bad I guess.... But hell, that is kinda hard to do when they tend to get aggressive as fuck really early with their unique units hehe. And regarding Korea, they can be dealt with somewhat easier if they arent too far ahead in tech or so late in the game that you have your infantry and artillery/RA, but in the mid-early late game they will just wreck everyone attacking them with superior tech. I really dont like Korea, I try to keep them permanately disabled :P (and nearly every time I forget to do so, that fucker pops up and ruins my games ;_;)
I would love to see a tips and tricks video on how to go from playing on
difficulty 7 to playing on diety. Or if anyone knows a good series on this
channel to watch let me know, cause I'm stuck on lvl 7 as it is right now
and can never go to war until late game which kinda sucks.
Honestly, just watch any of his series. Marbozir is a very consistent and methodical player. You will learn mostly the same lessons from all of his LPs.
Just watch what he does and learn from it. That is how I got better.

marbs normally get's open boarders with civs of the same ideologies to help reduce pressure and keep his happiness up. I was wondering if he just didn't except open borders because of a.habit or b.forgot Rome has order or c.for some other reason
Open borders can be annoying for other reasons. One is archaeologists - although he has those sites locked down already - and another is their huge armies can come through and clog up your troop movement. I've had that happen before and it's really a nuisance
+Marbozir Hi, I was just thinking about a way to connect Moscow and it
seems that if you start a citadel on the iron tile, just North-East of
Budapest that will be enough to connect your territory. I will loose some
influence with the city-state, and Pocatello does not like you much anyway,
but it seems worth it seeing how there are at least 100-150 turns left, so
you will make quite o lot of gold from connecting Moscow
My idea is not so much in terms of money alone. Novgorod + harbour will do the trick. The idea is unit mobility. All remaining AIs apart from Cesar are to the east.
+OldDood Connecting a road to Novgorod should do the trick as soon as it is out of resistance. Which it already is, altough the road might lead through St Petersburg's lands.
+Marbozir Just for curiosity, at what turn do you think it would be optimal compared to it being too late? I mean I can understand if you need the production for units/spaceship parts, 15% production isnt anything to scoff at. (that's how i'd look at it, it's like purchasing a nuclear plant in your capital, which isnt too bad for 1500 if early enough and if you economy is is good enough shape. plus the extra gold)But you're probably right about Standard Speed, if it is the same cost (1500 gold) on epic speed it'd almost definitely be worthwhile.
+Jurao I disagree with wasting 1500 gold on it in my current situation (I thought I said this in the video tbh). That's a crazy amount of money on standard speed. I did some quick calculations and it's just not worth the cost, unless you have a really monstrous city (I don't - partially as an effect of not going tradition).
