+Latoya Slack ooooowee YESSSSSS! I wish it could be Blue Bell ice cream (my fav) but too bad they've taken it away from me. I've gained 5 lbs. just thinking about this idea!
Just a friendly tip, a way that would come out absolute delicious (and this
is for any kind of pie crust with fruit filling), bake both your pie crust
or in your case won ton wrappers (uncooked) with your fruit filling
(uncooked). You can still butter & add your cinnamon to the wrappers just
don't cook it, & place your small pieces of fresh apples inside the wrapper
& sprinkle your cinnamon & butter on top or combine it all together in a
mixing bowl & then add it to your wrappers & bake it. :)
+Dontworry.. Well my bad, I thought you were coming at me slightly rude. Thanks for clearing that up. I've been cooking & baking for more than 15 years & actually consider myself as a chef. So when someone questions your food especially when they haven't even tasted it its an insult. But yes, when baking any pie or pie like things no matter how small or how big the pie is, if it's with dough or filling you are to bake them both together. And by letting your filling sit room temperature in a bowl followed by it sitting on a strainer will allow all liquids to escape to prevent any leakage from excess liquids. :)
oh okay! i am by no means a person who bakes on a regular enough basis. it was just a weird thought i had, but thanks for clearing my confusion! probably should have phrased my comment more like a question, I guess.
+Dontworry.. That's where you are wrong. If you knew how to bake pies then you would know. When making any kind of fruit filling you would make your filling & let it sit for 30 minutes in a bowl, having it sit will allow all liquids from the fruit to escape, and after you would remove your fruit from that bowl of excess liquid & onto a strainer for an additional 15 minutes to get rid of an extra liquids, and then your filling would be ready for your pie crust. Thank you.
The bottom would get soggy from the juices of the fruit caramelizing if you were to just throw it all together. plus, the parts under the fruit would cook at a different rate than the exposed wonton. It's more consistent if they're cooked separately.
So long story short... cook the wrappers already filled with the apple mixture together in the oven???

Enhorabuena por tu primer vídeo! Se ve delicioso ^^ lo que más cuesta es
arrancar, pero luego se le coge el gusto y engancha un montón jajaja Por
cierto, sales guapísima! un beso!! ^^
Hey Rory thanks so much for watching. I am not as raw as I would like to be
but working my way towards a 100% raw lifestyle. Do you have any idea what
a vita-mix costs these days? I have looked at some of the vids on YT that
compare Blend tech and vita-mix but am not sure if they are inflating the
prices due to sales commissions or something. Anyways' I really appreciate
the time you took to view my vid and your journey is an inspiration.
Hey 313! Awesome video!! I love the idea of using your coffee grinder to
prep the sunflower seeds! Very resourceful! It was about a year and half
into my raw adventure before we got a vita-mix so I was constantly scheming
up recipes and tricks to get around my wimpy blenders. *lol* Thanks for the
shout out and keep up the rawesome work~ Rory :0)
Today is day 96 of this 100 day journey and I am looking at a way of life
with this raw-ness. I will talk about that in a future vid. The ranch is
very tasty and I will also make the one in my raw healing patch cookbook
because I like a variety of dressings.
Thanks so much I really appreciate this. During my first 100 day journey I
discovered that all the new flavors and various ways to prepare food are
good motivators. Some may feel that it is time consuming but I just think
it is exciting.
oh delish...we should try some. i think it is kinda simialr to our herbed
ranch in the book , yum. anypoo...happy 90 days! work it, own it! :) we are
almost done, too...phew! we want soup! ha ha talk to you soon, thanks for
the video!
Thanks Ettisen, The main objective in this 100 day journey was to get more
intense in my exercise regimen. This was more difficult than I had
anticipated but in the end I feel that I have accomplished more than I set
out to.
Hahah, yeah, I'm still here. Just been busy with my kids. I also have
another vid that was inspired by your banana bread recipe. I will post it
soon. BTW, can you send me the link to provie's vid on that banana bread
too?
Another GREAT video from you. I was beginning to wonder where you were, I
am so pleased you have posted.....I missed ya! I will definitely make this
Ranch dressing, I love Ranch Dressing...YUM! Hugs to you sis x
YVW Sis! I hope to maybe get one of those good mixers soon. It would make a
lot of my recipes easier and smoother, more well mixed. I wish I knew
someone who had one they weren't gonna ever use again. hahaha
OMG it looks so yammy!! makes me so hungry...and yes I agree with the
comment below, I wish I was disciplined enough to keep on doing things I
have started...keep doing what you doing, you are amazing.
sweet sweet...congrats on nearing the finish line of your 2nd challenge.
wow! that's like half a year of nearly raw. incredible. cant wait to hear
more when you post the next vids :)
Thank you so very much Provie (((hugs))). Can you send me a link to your
banana bread (raw) recipe video? I saw starflowers vid and want to view
yours too before I attempt to make it
Very good idea for adapting to your equipment. I too have that same issue
and want either the vita mix or blend tech. Not sure which one tho. Thanks
for sharing Sis.
