Looks like you have everything covered Harvey. Usually duct seal is used
for sealing the openings. Plumbers putty is typically used to set faucets,
sinks and drains and may contain petroleum which could affect the copper
tubing. It's something to look in to.

+Joseph Costello , I asked for duct seal at home depot and they had no clue... A guy in plumbing indicated that the plumber's putty would work. After reading Ur post, I was careful to keep it of the copper, I have it sealing the pipe insulation to the drywall and will use it to seal the pipe insulation to the siding outside. +59chevt , It is hooked up and is blowing out some warm air now, it is 70 inside and 40 outside and it just seems to be idling along. So far, (about 7hrs of run time), I am very happy with it,... To earns its keep, it has to run for another 10years or so.... Thanks for the encouragement, watching, and commenting!

+Calvin Cochran Jr , Seems like there is one person out there who gives me a dislike on about 1/4 of my videos... Such is life, nothing I can do about it... The ductless heat pump is for the living room or better said, my wife's piano studio... Yea, I started the project with hopes of $2500, kind of up sided the BTUs and quality, then I started buying tools... Kind of zoomed up...Yea, better then $5k, for sure....
