Getting a little tired of all you "block and grab" Marios out there.... try
fighting once in a while. (and no, I don't lose to them, its just boring
that they stand around not doing anything but waiting for you)
Dr mario is the worst but all he wants to do is chuck lethal medicine at
his openets that probaly have horrible side effects getting the other
charters addicted .... He is the worst
Just so you guys know there are some new amiibo's out, Little Mac, Zelda,
and Diddy Kong. They are super hard to find though so you may have trouble
getting one!

Man, again, not using the character to its fullest potential like Shulk.
I like your videos, but this is just mediocre if you are playing Robin like
this.
No hate.
I have no idea if you've actually gotten advice on this stuff- but I just
thought I'd give my Robin input. =o=
- Spikes happen with dairs and El Wind, El Wind is generally the better
spike due to it's speed but as it's also Robin's limited recovery that
leaves you vulnerable you'd best use it wisely (as with any of her magic
really). El Wind only spikes on the first hit though, the second hit is
more of a GTFO move.
- Arc Fire is their bread and butter- as you eventually found out. It leads
to many combos and is your greatest zoning tool. It's limited though, so
don't spam it and be wise. Like Ness' PK Fire, you can use Arc Fire to help
you wall out opponents, keep them off stage, and land spikes.
- Her neutral special has several different levels, level 1 is Thunder that
doesn't do much or have much range, and is generally a last minute option.
Level 2 is El Thunder, which is basically still Thunder but with more range
and damage, making it more useful. Level 3 is Arc Thunder, another bread
and butter move to abuse as you can combo out of it, grab people out of it,
and smash your opponent out of it. Generally Arc Thunder will be your
favorite level, but it doesn't kill that early much like Arc Fire (you can
kill people in sudden death with both though). Level 4 is Thoron, which
kills but gives you lag and such. You can use Thoron to edge guard/ if
someone's in your line of sight and near a blast zone, and you can combo
into it with Arc Fire. All levels use different (let's say) "magic points"
whichIcan'trememberatthemoment.
- Nosferatu is her down special which is great for punishing shield happy
opponents. You can catch them in it in the air too. It heals you more from
behind your opponent. :3
- Her grab range is very terrible- maybe even the worst in the game. She
recovers from it very quickly though, and from there you can throw your
opponent off stage, use d-throw to try and combo into aerials, or b-throw
which has the highest knock back but still isn't the greatest as it only
kills at very high percents, I believe.
- If you find yourself off stage as Robin, you can use arc fire to prevent
those who like to try and take you on off stage from getting to you. If
your opponent prefers to stay on the ground and wait for you to try and
grab the ledge, you may want to make sure you have your Levin Sword in hand
which always comes out for smashes and aerial smashes when you have it.
Dair is a guarantee "Levin summon" on your way back (assuming you haven't
used the sword) if it doesn't seem to come out on her other aerials (should
come out for everything but nair). If your sure your opponent won't try to
chase you off stage or throw projectiles at you, you can charge up Thunder
on your way back. You'll want to charge it after second jumping and giving
a directional input, so that you don't fall straight down while you charge
it and can still recover well. You can air dodge to cancel the charge and
save what you have.
- Do not roll forwards with Robin unless you absolutely know you're going
to be safe. Don't roll dodge in general, but especially avoid Robin's
forward roll. Her backward roll actually isn't too bad (still be wise
though), and you can get some nice grabs out of it if you were shielding
before the roll.
- About dat jab- there are indeed two forms. One uses her fire tome (magic)
(by pressing a thrice) and the other uses the wind tome (mash a). Her jab
can start quick, but hits after the first one can be shielded, and the last
hit can be countered so be wary. If you want to shorten the duration of her
wind jab then just press L, you can use the wind jab to catch people as
they come up from the ledge. Be wary of the wind one though- the wind tome
is the same one Robin uses to recover so if you use it too much you aren't
coming back. The fire jab is also very good- because it can kill your
opponent once they get up two a high enough percent. You really want to
avoid using the wind one once you're at kill percents, and in general you
should be wise at using El Wind to recover. If you think you can get back
to the stage without El Wind, don't use it and get back to the stage as
safely as possible without it. This and Nosferatu help you live longer.
- This isn't really a tip so much as it is a comment- Robin is literally
one of if not the slowest characters in this game on the ground. Not sure
of her air speed- but her lack of speed on the ground means it's all the
more important to zone with this character using her projectiles. NOTE that
"zone" does NOT equate to "spam". Spamming with Robin is just a death you
deserve. Her projectiles are limited, so shape up and be wise if you dare
spam with her.
P.S.: I usually use fem!Robin so I probably used more feminine pronouns. I
actually did try to be gender-neutral- but eh. I fail at using pronouns
when discussing Robin. =o=''
