Black Boys Who Aspire to Become Athletes or Rappers
Aaron explains to young boys, especially black boys, how aspiring to become an athlete or a rapper only has a 1 in 19000 chance of becoming reality...and an ...
I like how rappers act like they are in the same league of music as people
who have learned to play instruments or sing. Rap for the most part is the
lazy man's music.
+APIMPNAMED SLICKBACK There's more to advanced lyricism than what you've mentioned. Rhyme patterns, schemes, cadence, flow, having an extensive vocabulary, being clever, coherent, concise and remaining on topic, staying on beat, subdividing on it, riding the beat, etc. It can be like a talking drum in your head playing a rhythm over the one you're writing to. I learned to play the clarinet much faster than I learned to rap.
+Lebert Jones please explain how rhyming words is more difficult than the muscle memory you need to remember many notes and play them correctly, keeping rhythm while syncing two hands together(piano), while doing complex fingering. There is a reason child prodigies are of the instrument persuasion.
As a person who learned to play instruments and read sheet music all while aspiring to rap like the greats from the a young age, I can tell you that becoming a good rapper and a good instrumentalist are equally difficult.
Sure you could be talented but without perseverance (the drive) it doesn't matter if you're talented because you'll give up when it gets too tough...But Tbh you can be whatever you want to be cuz no one knows the future and only you can create it...
What do you mean a real job? You need perseverance when pursuing any desirable career path or job.If you don't want the job you will be miserable...So why not do something you like
@ 3:24 This is what I've been saying for years. Blacks have a magnificent
musical legacy with their jazz musicians. Some of the best musicians the
world has ever seen were blacks like Art Tatum, John Coltrane, Charlie
Parker. Rap is not music or an art form, and is an insult to the truly
talented people that have come before us.
+wastrel09 Agreed man! I listen to this music and wanna rip my ears out every time I hear it! I know kids who are tone death to have superior music to C(rap) music!
Dear Stupid Students, America Can't Afford Your Stupidity
Aaron explains why stupid students making stupid decisions only have themselves to blame and don't deserve bailouts.
I'm a woman with a degree in Radiology Technology with an emphasis in
Computed Tomography. Heavy emphasis in mathematics, physics, anatomy and
physiology.
All women aren't idiots. Some of us are out there earning six figures 2
years after graduation. Student loans paid in full.
+Catherine Folkman Whitford It sounds like you're doing what we women typically like to do - herd together and take offense whenever one woman gets insulted for her stupidity. An attack on one woman is not an attack on all. If the original article had featured an idiot MALE student who'd blown his fortune on a worthless design degree, Aaron would be busily taking HIM apart just as industriously.
+Serial Jazzer I think the fact that I was hired to launch the CT department of a new hospital in a remote location (the South Pacific) speaks volumes about my common sense, leadership skills, critical thinking, etc, etc. It sounds like you are upset about something that has absolutely nothing to do with me. I'm going to go surfing now, have a good day.
+Catherine Folkman Whitford You're a typical American cunt, boasting of education but with absolutely zero COMMON SENSE, no true leadership skills nor critical thinking skills like the FUCKING LESBO cunt officers I was forced to work for in the military. Thank god we never went into combat with these worthless fugly losers, or I would've been dead. They too, bragged about their education, because they couldn't brag about their performance. Btw, I am so thankful of my ASIAN gf instead of the torture I would've gone through with a LOSER American cunt like you.
I've already been awarded a medal, thanks. It hangs from a gold and purple ribbon, and it was placed around my neck after I gave my Valedictorian speech to the graduating class. They gave me a nice crystal statue with my name engraved on it, also.
This guy is the real parasite. I got my bachelors in Marketing with a minor
in finance, i worked my fucking ass off because I wanted to be successful
and didn't care about partying. I didn't listen to Debby downers like this
guy. I did summer internships and stayed focused on getting my career
going. Built up a resume and I got hired right out of college with the same
advertising company that I interned for. I'm 25 and am making 48k a year as
a marketing manager of my territory. I don't have any loan debt because I
got Academic scholarships. This guy is unhappy. U want to know the
secret??? U have to work harder than anyone who's beside you to stand out
and be Aggressive with what you want.
+TheRealDavieLondon Well done. You did it the way a responsible person does it. But a lot of degrees are a scam. Communications, women's studies, African American Studies for example.
+TheRealDavieLondon im 22 and agree with the vast majority of what ive heard Aaron say in his videos. haven't read his books yet but I intend too. I got my GED and 18, went to a free trade school for carpentry called Job Corps (look it up fellow millennials. its a great way to get an education without going into debt). and I still haven't been able to get a construction job. why? because the economy has been butchered by the parasites Aarons talking about here and ive been stuck going from crap job to crap job. granted, I live in NY state and the job market here particularly sucks, but ive been gradually learning to Enjoy The Decline. im living with my mom, DONT FREAK OUT IM PAYING HER A SIZABLE RENT, JUST LIKE ANY OTHER ROOMATE SETUP, and working at an animal shelter. I actually feel lucky because even though its part time and minimum wage, I get to go and work with dogs everyday and actually enjoy what I do for a paycheck. ive got zero ambition of getting married, having kids, owning a house or any of that. im making enough money to not be a parasite and still have enough to enjoy myself in my time off. ive got a gym membership and a few buddies I go to the bar with. life aint amazing, but its a lot better than what most people my age are stuck with. quit listening to what the past generations have told you and realize how downhill America has gone and will continue to go. understand the world you live in and set REALISTIC goals for yourself. may not be what you dreamed of as a kid, but the worst thing you can do is drive yourself into debt like this dumb bitch and really ruin your life
No, I'm accurate and living in the real world. Which by your overly optimistic perspective would seem negative. But you're young and have plenty of time to realize you're overly optimistic.
+AaronClarey being negative doesn't solve it either. Every single video of yours is negative. You hate on everything. None of us are in a position to change anything about the system and All your doing is complaining about it like a little baby. Theres to many pessimists out there finding whats wrong with everything.
+Kyle Smith because all this guy does in these videos is talk about his negative view on things. Listening to him if you're trying to be positive only sucks the positivity right out of you. Hence the word parasite.
+TheRealDavieLondon oh wow thatsmarthotguy is 10 years younger so he must be better. too bad he's only a kid who regurgitates basic internet libertarianism while clarey actually studied economics and has way more work and life experience, but you can't even recognize it. and what about those stupid fighting vids on your channel. if anything you've just proven capitalism flaws are alive and well (aka the douchebags have no trouble getting a career).
+TheRealDavieLondon stfu dumbass he is talking about majority clearly majority of people are not like you, they party and shit. So gtfo this channel moron
+TheRealDavieLondon You've come to the right place in the right time! I studied in local university of science in metallurgy, and I have not finished, so I found a job, and after 1 year I quit, to play on stock exchange, so for 3 year my income has increased from 1500$ from start to 80000$ and here in my country it is very huge, but I did not needed this shit "whole education" for myself. Finally I dumped this art of life, because I like to make some valuable life, like I was doing before start the university not look for mathematical decreases and increases on stocks, and dont depend on the whole shit banks whims and political games...but ofcourse, my life is standing on hardy work in engineering, maths and intellect, not on shit partys or deviations...the true is that to make more money is to make more stupidity to the people, advert them and brainwash their minds, so Your profits are not from your knowledge, only that the masters of global economic would like to make people more stupid...that's where the money flow tremendously.I wish you the true future!
+TheRealDavieLondon Then you are not the problem. Thanks for your story, but he isn't talking about you. It just comes down to simple logic or common sense. For example, some people are smart like this guy (not going to say myself) and they can just see things better, or think about things. As an engineer, I can testify to this even though I always hated going to school just to qualify as one. There are even people and 'kids' there who are just as this guy described and they have absolutely no idea what to do, they end up getting abused by bad loans with large increase rates where they don't read the paperwork or dropping out to an easier degree where they just spent a couple thousand dollars to be 'taught' something that is publicly available to learn 'absolutely free'. That is why smart people tend to stand out and look at dumber people as if they are ridiculous and just start to manipulate them after a while. Even people who go to Harvard for example are known to sometimes not have common sense or answer questions that are very simple where you would think "wow, anyone should know that". Universities are 'stupid' sometimes but the stupider ones are those who fund them for absolutely nothing. When you get that sheet of paper to qualify for something, you better hope you're a doctor or an engineer that showed you passed advanced mathematics and worked hard. Otherwise, it's true you've payed thousands of dollars to rich people to essentially sit down and be taught something that can be learned more easily from online or available resources (and probably WILL have to be self-taught anyway). You have to realize what with common sense or intelligence 'whether or not it is worth it'.
+TheRealDavieLondon +AaronClarey Davie that's motivational bro... keep working hard you will be successful with this mindset. If you manifest it will happen. BTW I can't believe you know about "ThatSmartHotGuy" that's crazy ! I went to school with him his name is Nicola. I like Aaron to but he's kinda.... well... lol u know
I wasn't trying to brag at all i just want to let ppl know that capitalism is still alive and healthy. It's built on competition so naturally, competitive people do well in life because they want to be the best. I will be the best and it's people like you who fuel my fire. The saying is, their are people who do, and people who don't. Do'ers and Dont'ers. Some people play the game, some sit the bench, and some people sit in the stands and criticize the call on the field. If you aren't talented enough to compete in this game, than you end up recording yourself sitting on your computer like a faggot who has no life. To prove how untalented you are, look up "thatsmarthotguy" he's so much better at doing this than you and he's 10 years younger. To everyone who reads this comment, don't let the "dont'ers" of the world bring your morale down.
+TheRealDavieLondon A whole $48,000 a year? Wow. I only made $46,000 a year teaching dance class back when I was your age....oh, wait, adjusted for inflation that would be more like $67,000. You sure showed me!
