The book of Habakkuk goes on to say that God would use the "more wicked than Judah" Babylonians, who trusted in themselves, to punish Judah. I hope this story encourages you to trust God in this situation because it goes on to tell Habakkuk that he would see this in his lifetime and that is why God continually laid this book of the Bible on my heart. I am 50 years of age and God has shown me that I will see my vindication in my lifetime. In this "I have hope and hope maketh it not ashamed." God is our vindicator. "The just shall live by faith."
