I don't think so. We don't have a first line winger for Tavares and Okposo. And every one here is saying the defense will shape up, but I just don't see it. Because Reinhart is coming up? I doubt he'll be much of a game-changer in his first year, and aside from him they didn't get anyone. They resolved the goalie situation, but with what I expect to be a pretty bad defense, I think they'll struggle again this year.

I think they'll be the second or third worst in the conference. They have young talent and speed but no defense or goalie. Even though I think Tavares is a superstar and Okposo is sick, they aren't a very good team. They had more depth on defense in 2013 when they made the playoffs and kind of gave Pittsburgh a run for their money.

Stick to my Bruins who have made the playoffs for the past 7 seasons in a row? The Bruins were a terrible team before 2006, I've seen them suck and get better. The Isles aren't a good enough team to make the playoffs. And if wins-losses don't mean anything then why is there a regular season?

They won't make the playoffs, they don't have enough depth and Halak isn't as good as you think he is. Chad Johnson may end up being your starter, he was with my team this year and went 17-5-4. But if they do make the playoffs feel free to rub it in my face

Do you honestly think they'll be a playoff team? Reinhart is going to be a great defenseman in this league but young defenseman take a year to figure out NHL forwards. Yes this team is solid. But looking at the moves that other non-playoff teams have made this year, I'm sorry I just think they'll be at the bottom. And it's a prediction so don't get your panties in a knot.
