if anyone wants to make some extra cash with their smartphone, check out the ibotta app. It's a free rebate app that basically pays you for grocery shopping. They have a lot of offers and some were probably already on your grocery list. It works in over 44 retailers including Whole Foods. And if you sign up with a smartphone or tablet you could get a $10 bonus. Check it out: http://ibotta.com/r/NTfQwA

I wouldn't go anywhere near that rusty thing or have anything made in it to eat. With all the money you make and charge for your food at your stores you couldn't have something really nice and attractive and CLEAN?

Can we just get rid of the green countertop.... AND the perm

+sweartogucci Exactly!!! The DRAMA Princess, needs to get rid of that green and the big hair. One episode and the fat chef is getting on my nerves as well. That green is tremendously trendy, but she didn't even attempt to make it work or make any sense, with another color, like terra cotta? I dunno. She is not a 'designer', per se. They are BOTH a couple of idiots, did you get the part about the soap dispenser? Neither did I!

The designer is an idiot! a massive dining table that close to all the appliances means less space. The colour is over bearing, and she wouldnt listen to those people who are either living in the house, or are the trades people.

+MiXieS the color is i think related to his profession , i think thats the reason its florescent

How sad HGTV folks don't donate kitchen cabinets . . . instead of demolishing it with sledge hammers. There are SO many people in need of the things you folks tear apart and throw into dumpsters.

Because they were built in place.  I can tell because I do this stuff for a living.

How do you know that?

Those were not cabinets that could be removed and refitted somewhere else. They were built in when the house was built.

+mel2000 Thinking as many folks that are helping with the show, someone should be able to take down cheap  cabinets.  I grew up VERY POOR and would have been so happy to have had cheap stuff in our home.  I have worked as an In-Home Therapist and have seen some very needy folks.  Fourteen people sleeping in a one room duplex....  This is just my opinion, no more, no less.  I have watched a show (can't remember the name) about a young woman from Detroit that saves every thing she possibly can from the homes she restores.  One of the problems (once again my opinion) with our country is, everything is disposable including human life.

Taking the time and care needed to preserve those cheap cabinets would have adversely impacted their schedule. Needy homeowners would be better off without such cheap used cabinets. Let them recycle as sawdust.
