Looked like a bolt on WRX to me. Still, good kill. PS - Having a 6 speed tranny isn't a mod unless you swapped in one with different gearing

That Lightning is every bit of 4600+ lbs full weight so holding its own is awesome. There are some real monsters out there and you would never see it coming. Go out run with some modded corvettes then tow your boat to the lake the next day....lol

damn that lightning has got to be in the 700rwhp range to move like that with a heads/cam c5. from a stop that lightning would prob take it but its apparent that thing is like a brick wall in the wind in the 120-130 range

I'm an import guy and not really into trucks at all. But gotta love that Lightning! It's definitely fast for what it is and only losing top-end due to it's aero shape. GREAT RACES! All very close.

Yeah, sorry guy but a stock turbo WRX isn't even in the same area code as a h/c Vette. Judging by how quick the gears are in the WRX I'd be the farm he has a 6 speed swap also.

expected much more from the wrx... wow, especially with a 30r on there. i run a gt28 on my cobalt (different car i know) and i can take h/c c5 vettes (non z06)
