Honestly didn't know Baltimore had bloods and crips. Never heard about them until cnn went there to cover the Gray case. Never looked at Baltimore as a Gang city, but I guess it's everywhere now.

I'm not a real estate expert or nothing. But it looks like the first stages of gentrification unless "New Africans" investors come in and buy this property up. Because you see it in Brooklyn where the cookie cutter box stores are moving in as well as high rise condos where the projects once stood. Here in downtown Memphis old abandon areas where black businesses once were are being developed into condos for 200K a pop. So we really need to buy this property and beginning building a community.

As a mother of a 18 years old black male I worry constantly. I feel that white people in America don't see us. They never want to talk about the past unless it benefit them. We blk will always have it hard because their scared of our capabilities. Remember blk wall street they don't want that to happen again. I hate when people try to justify rioting, when something bad happens. Rioting does not work. It just doesn't. Never has, never will. Mr. Morrison you already know that capital (money) is going to leave Baltimore quicker than water runs down the drain. Baltimore and other "black areas" become bad investments when they riot, so no one puts their money there. What do you think will happen to the people who are left? No jobs, poor schools, crime, etc. Do you remember a similar riot happening in Atlanta, or how about Houston, how about any prosperous black city????? Doesn't happen. That is someone's asset you are burning down. That is someone's job that they can't go to tomorrow, because it has been destroyed. I love the entire idea of Black Wall Street, especially seeing all those abandon buildings. I really wish I had the money to buy at least one whole block and fix it up. It's empowering but sad at the same time.
