+FinKone Finney Most likely you saw Steve's patrol on the French Rivera map so you likely already know about the map. You should certainly try French Rivera and ESPECIALLY Criminal Rage Russia. The pursuits on those two maps are insane! Both maps have their big crash issues but as long as you learn what things you do causes the crashes you can avoid those crashes. With both maps just like every other map mod, don't expect to be able to drop off suspects at the station as it will try and take you to the stations in LC (that won't even exist at all if the map is a total conversion). Best way around this is to just do the dirty business off camera after pretending to arrest them ;) Criminal Rage Russia has a station with an actual interior and jail cell so I like to take the suspect I arrested and put them in the cell then do bad horrible things to them off camera lmao. Such a lot to see with both maps. With French Rivera, one big warning though about ENBs. They will cause texture loss in the two towns (maybe not straight away but eventually, even for really powerful cards). I'm on an i7 4790k and gtx 750ti 2gb and it happens after about 5 minutes with CryENB. If you check it out and have any issues, try a enb free install and install RealityIV 2.0 which is a timecycle mod. It looks spot on to Cry (just without all the bloom etc), especially the fog and the night is beautiful, especially in the second town. Then I just also added a standalone enb file that simply gives the enb reflections on the vehicles. I've changed all my installs to instead have realityiv as at least don't have issues with the lighting when you play with the times. I've over the weekend been doing lots of testing with French Rivera and I had hardly any crashes at all. The main issues I had was getting extra police vehicles that won't crash on the map. Such a difference to before when I was playing on my Mac which crashed all the time after pursuits etc. With both maps, other vehicles backing you up will work but do not call for backup units, that's when it will crash (no idea about the heli though). There's so much roleplaying potential with both maps. French Rivera works on MP so you and Steve could both patrol. I just advise with it to find good spots to save as teleport locations (not too close to the towns) and have god mode on so you don't go back to liberty city. The fastest way to get to the map first time is to teleport to actor industrial park and go onto Plumbers Skyway heading west from actor and you'll see the turning to France (or you could hop on a plane from FIA and head west and land at the airport when you find it (or a heli more like xd). Also, callouts are 90% the time a no go but if you want to live dangerously then what's stopping you? ;) If you're interested hope you have a lot of fun :P
