Awesome video. I keep tryin to sneak a Subaru into my driveway but the wife
would make me sell one of my cars for it. I choose my battles wisely. At
work we send the heads out like Eric O. But if I do get one, now I know.
Thanks.
Yeah, none of that happens at my job. It kinda embarrassing to say but I don't call the shots. That's why when I watch your videos, I wish I worked for SMA.
+Michael Herbert I do send the heads out but they have to be stripped of all the cams and rockers so you are still responsible for setting up the cam and valve timing. Some machine shops will do it all but they charge a bit extra I am sure.
Brian, I own two Legacy's and really love them. I wanted to know if you
have better luck with aftermarket head gasket's than with OEM? They are
great cars, but the main weakness with them is head gasket's.
+Dennis Kelly Subaru redesigned the head gaskets years and years ago. Look for 11044AA633. May be different if you don't run a SOHC engine. Not sure if it would work with you so call up a Subaru dealer and check with them. I bought my set for $52 on ebay and it was real OEM parts.
Thanks B. , are those interference , or non interference heads , like to
have seen the block and cylinders , without the heads . had many women like
that self centered pig
