Hey guys! Love your thrift store videos! Just a quick tip for you. You don't have to skip the scratched games and dvds. You can resurface them without investing in a machine. All you need is three sheets of sandpaper (3000, 5000, and 7000 grit) a bottle of rubbing alcohol, and a microfiber polishing towel. You can refurbish just about any disc in a few minutes.

Start with the 3000 grit paper (for really deep scratches you may want to start with a piece of 1500 grit sandpaper.)Tear off a small square of paper and start sanding the face of the disc in left to right swipes from the top to the bottom of the disc. Continue sanding until you no longer see the original scratches. Then sand with the next grade of paper using the same left to right, top to bottom motions. Finish with your finest grit paper (the higher the number, the finer the grit). After you have finished sanding, wipe or spray the rubbing alcohol on the disc and wipe off with the microfiber polishing towel. You may have to spray and wipe twice. Your disc should now be ready to try. You can get the polishing towel and rubbing alcohol from your local dollar store (or Walmart) and you can get the sandpaper from your local auto store or from Amazon. All of your supplies should cost you less than $10 and should repair dozens of discs. Let me know if you have any other questions or concerns. (I run a resale business and use this method to repair my discs at least a dozen times a week.)

+ziarnik Hey Ziarnik, this is a topic I have been thinking about for quite some time. As you know we come across really bad scratched games. And a re surface machine, is expensive and not 100% effective. Can you explain your process here in steps? I would like to try it out! :)

+locomotive67 Dave, Yes for some reason the climb to Snowdon summit is popular but some of the participants were a little unprepared for the tough climb. However, the locals in their fur coats took it all their stride. My legs are still aching after the descent. Regards, John

+SYKAROST Brian, You have set yourself quite a challenge as the train only takes you to the summit so the only way you can get to the locations is to walk up or down to them unless you have a helicopter! Anyhow thanks for your kind words which are always appreciated. Regards, John
