He would of been young for his original grade so he got held back early on and then reclassified again but like Mitch McGary he'll be 20 at the beginning of his freshman year of college which is old and a definite competitive edge but it only hurts him in the long run if he's trying to go to the NBA as they want the youngest most skilled players. It'll be hard for him to get drafted(only 2nd round at that point) if he stays longer than 2 year: which he most likely will have to do

So true.... SEC schools are so much easier academically than Notre Dame. This sounds wrong but I think that the SEC conference needs to raise their academic standard bar. I really hate to see players just join the SEC conference just so they can play football without actually having to do anything as far as schoolwork goes. I think that Dominant Conferences should make players take required harder courses so that they dont just float by on stupid subjects like photography or something...

I didnt say anything about me not liking it...Re my comments above re read again .A lot of yanks bought the irish tricolour it was sold outside the stadium.hence the "waving".Of course the irish rugby captain was going to be there ,it is the Irish stadium for international rugby and soccer.But as for general interest from REAL Irish people ,there was very very little.the majority of the crowd were outsiders i.e americans .

Dude, This is the United States Naval Academy you don't get a scholarship to attend Navy you get an appointment to attend. the U.S military academies ( Army,Navy and Air Force) are extremely selective because their graduates become military officers and go to WAR. Try knowing what you are talking about before you go trolling you friendless virgin.

You can't use that as an excuse for navy getting crushed by 40. They want to play football with no scholarships thats their problem that they have to deal with, no one is making them play. Also Notre Dame holds their players to much higher standards than powerhouses like Alabama and LSU especially academically. So shut up

Its nonsense in the sense that it came to a foregin country to play a league game .Why bring it abroad when no one in that foreign country follows American Football .The majority of the crowd in the Aviva are americans who came to Ireland to see the game ,Very few locals(if any) have any interest in it.
