Not one living human knows exactly what writer meant when he (possibly) coined that compound word.Within its context , it was far more likely that the writer was yet again referring to cult prostitutes. The fact that some have taken that word and misinterpreted it around the 1950s, is proof of how far some are willing to go in their anti-homosexuality agenda. +Xkillroy I have read the Scriptures in Greek and Hebrew. I have also read them in 5 other languages. I have done extensive research into Koine Greek, and Ancient Hebrew. I have read virtually every English translation available. I have also spent many years researching ALL of the context the scriptures were written in. So, you simply little four book test is child's play compared to what I have done and continue doing. "Because of this", "For this cause", "This is why", "That is why", "Therefore", "For this reason". They are all stating that God gave them up for some reason, and that reason was not homosexuality, it was idolatry like Romans 1:21-24 states.It was also Paul (very specifically) referring to a Pagan ritual that was commonplace at that time and where he was. It was a fertility ritual. Do you know anything about what they entailed? If not, I can tell you more than you may want to know regarding them.You are the one not only not reading the context, you are purposefully ignoring most of it Buddy.

When i study a verse i go to four different virsions lol. So, you can only be denying and ignoring the truth.The first words in Romans 1:26 are "because of this". People like you want to ignore the context behind those words, because they do not fit in with your mindset, and or agenda. Do you know who wrote those verses, do you know why he wrote them, do you know where he was, or why he was there, or who those people were he was writing about, or who he he was writing to, or why he took issue with the people he was writing about, or why those people were doing what they were doing?Well, I do know the answers to all of that, and much more. I also know for a fact that those verses had nothing to do with what we all know of as homosexuality. There is not one Greek word in 1 Corinthians 6:9 that had anything to do with what we all know of as homosexuality. But there are two Greek words in that verses that some have taken liberties on, and mistranslated them into things the writer never intended. The fact that some have mistranslated them in an atempt to condemn any and all homosexual sex for any reason around the 1950s and after, is proof of how far some are willing to go in their anti-homosexuality agenda. Those two verses in all of Leviticus are surrounded by Hebrew cultural restrictions, and Pagan idolatrous rituals. We know far less about the ancient Hebrew language, and the context regarding those parts of the scriptures in the O.T. than we do regarding the Greek in the N.T. But the context surrounding the verses you so love, does not favor you.

+Xkillroy Sorry, but this is not correct.In 1Corinthians 6:9-11 it does NOT say 'men who have sex with men' and it does not contain the word ‘homosexuals.’ This is a mistranslation of the Greek word ‘malakoi’ which means a ‘catamite’ or a paedophile in today’s language. The word ‘homosexual’ did not even exist then.

+Xkillroy Actually yes. This passage is about anal intercourse, because it does not say a "man shall not lie with a man" it says "as with a woman" in other words, through intercourse. So yes, the Bible is against anal intercourse, that's all. But it is not against someone being homosexual. Just like the Bible is against adultery, but it is not against someone being heterosexual.Remember, Jesus Christ never married, and neither did St Paul. In fact, St Paul said he wished that all men remained unmarried, even as he was. St Paul said “I wish that all men were even as I myself…But I say to the unmarried and to the widows: It is good for them if they remain even as I am.” (1Corinthians 7:7-8).“It is good for a man not to touch a woman.” (1Corinthians 7:1) and “…it is good for a man to remain as he is.” (1Corinthians 7:26).Jesus says that a man who divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, and marries another, commits adultery (Matthew 5:32 and 19:9), and Leviticus states that the punishment for adultery is death (Leviticus 20:10).
