Elon Musk on SolarCity IPO (2012.12.13)
Elon Musk and SolarCity CEO, and cousin, Lyndon Rive talk about the company's decision to go public and the challenges ahead. Date: December 13, 2012 ...
SolarCity is a scam.
They just want to make you pay them for a portion of your electric bill and
get access to install THEIR SYSTEM ON YOUR ROOF for free.
+vexx506 Do you pay for your electric use? If yes, then its a no brainer. If you own a house, you can get their system installed, pay lower bill than what you were paying, and you don't have to worry about owning the system!! Seems logical to me...
BECAREFUL with this company. They will SCAM you. do a research on yelp, it
says it all. It is all a sales tactic from the beginning with Elon Musk
being in it. He is just a front!
Unlike fake energy companys that sell power but dont produce it. You can
install this mysterious pizza box shaped silicon based product on your roof
and it makes energy from sunlight. ^^^^ its not new or revolutionary its
been around for a while. In Maryland and 7 states you can buy it.
+websuspect Solar Panels/Photovoltaic cells have been around for a long time, indeed. On the other hand, SolarCity is trying to make it more convenient than ever before. Installing it for you, leasing it so if you don't have the money up front, you have different options. Just like Tesla, the further along the technology gets, it becomes increasingly cheaper to have and manufacture.
